Allison Janney Wore House of Gilles To ‘The Roses’ London Premiere
I almost let this one slip past me, but there was no way I was closing the week without giving Allison Janney her flowers—literally—after she joined Olivia Colman on the London red carpet for The Roses premiere.

Allison was a total vision in scarlet, wearing a House of Gilles by Gilles Mendel chiffon pleated gown, complete with a fluttering, cape-like ruffles that I can picture moving beautifully as she glided down the red carpet.
I’m sure some are looking at this saying: red roses on the step-and-repeat, red carpet, red gown, red Stuart Weitzman sandals, red Roger Vivier clutch? Groundbreaking. But honestly? I’m here for it. I love a coordinated moment—especially when it’s this well-executed. The trick is that each piece sits in a slightly different shade and texture, so nothing disappears into the backdrop. Instead, it layers into a look that’s bold, and striking.
