Kim Kardashian Wore Chrome Hearts To The 2025 Met Gala

It looks like Kim Kardashian finally gave her ribs a much-needed sabbatical at this year’s Met Gala. Known for squeezing into looks so tightly corseted that she could barely breathe, Kim flipped the script (ever so slightly) for the Superfine: Tailoring Black Style theme—and honestly, it’s about time.

Dressed in custom Chrome Hearts, she served up her signature silhouette with a twist. The croc leather top and matching skirt with a sweeping train gave drama, but with breathing room. There was no spandex or Balenciaga body glove in sight. It was still very much her—low back, curve-hugging—but with added flare and texture that made the look feel elevated instead of expected.

The tilt leather hat added a playful edge, and those jaw-dropping Boucheron jewels were pure maximalist fantasy. Kim’s known for going all in, and this time, she did it with a fresh take that still stayed true to her brand. Finally, a Met moment that let her shine and inhale.
