While Prada pulled out a heavy-hitting celeb roster for the 2025 Met Gala, Miu Miu kept it chic and intimate with a trio that included Joey King, Gigi Hadid, and Sydney Sweeney (who we’ve already celebrated). But let’s give Joey and Gigi their very well-earned flowers—because both understood how to blend tailoring with dazzle, history with play, and glamour with a wink.

Serving dandy realness

Remember when we weren’t quite sure about Joey King’s partnership with Miu Miu? Consider that uncertainty officially cancelled. Joey arrived in a green tailored suit that turned out to be one of the best looks of the entire night—full stop. Covered in mirrored crystals, styled with a printed gazarres shirt and a jacquard necktie, this was playful precision at its finest. She hit the sweet spot where dandy meets red carpet, with colours, textures and details that delivered on the tailoring brief better than some of the guys who should have had it in the bag. One for Joey’s Hall of Fame. Gabriel & Co. jewels completed her look.

Gigi Hadid, fresh off her birthday celebrations, channelled silver-screen-siren-meets-Met Gala magic in another Josephine Baker inspired look. Her golden velvet Miu Miu gown was all draped drama, fitting her like a second skin with crystal embroidery that shimmered under the lights. The pin-up hair, the curves, the quiet confidence—it was pure Old Hollywood fantasy made modern. Honestly, she could’ve been stepping off a 1940s Paramount Pictures lot or into a fashion history book. Either way, she gave us something timeless.
