Amanda Seyfried wore a custom Armani Privé black velvet strapless column gown styled with Pomellato jewels and Stuart Weitzman sandals​, which pulls inspiration from the past and the present​.

Andra Day’s Georges Chakra Fall 2004 Couture black tulle one-shoulder gown with polka-a-dot detailing and pleated organza floral asymmetrical hem was a full and flirty look to pull from the archives.

But this dress deserved better shoes.

16-year-old ‘Barbie’ actress Ariana Greenblatt wore a Le Smoking inspired Saint Laurent look styled with Chopard jewels and Jimmy Choo Max platforms.

I really hope that Billie Eilish doesn’t ruin Willy Chavarria for me, because there is nothing I like about the way she has styled this Spring 2024 look.

Assael pearl earrings, sock and granny shoes completed her look.

I’m not completely sold on the exposed corset details on Cailee Spaeny’s Miu Miu floral frock, which she styled with Bulgari jewelry.

Camila Morrone is known as the girl who only wears black, so this powder beige custom Givenchy Haute Couture gown could be setting the tone for a new look from the actress for 2024. 

Christian Louboutin 513 sandals completed her look.

Rodarte are known for creating fashion fantasies, but on this occasion they indulged in the opulence, with this custom dress for Cara Jade Myers which dazzled under the lights to ensure the actress made an unforgettable entrance.

Jimmy Choo shoes and Hanut101 jewels completed her look.

Danielle Brooks wore a custom Moschino gown guest designed by former Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.

On face value – colour and volume – this looked like an amazing gown for the actress.

But the construction of the bodice is throwing me off this look.

We saw several Vivienne Westwood corset gowns with draped bodices last year, so I should be happy to see the label give us something new for Elizabeth Olsen.

Yes and no.

Happy for something new.  Not so happy with the outcome, application of the lace skirt below the V-cut of the corset looks a little sloppy, and I don’t like the random solid panel on the skirt either.

Gillian Anderson’s Gabriela Hearst gown looks divinely romantic, but if you look closer, you can see that it is embroidered with a textured vulva print.

Gabriela Hearst coined this look “Vulvaliciously” chic on Instagram, and when someone asked her why such a beautifully designed gown featured an unfinished hem, Gabriela replied, “we like it raw.”

A silver Aquazzura handbag, Chopard jewelry and Aquazzura heels completed her look. 

Hannah Waddingham looked breath-taking wearing a custom Suzanne Neville lace gown featuring the London label’s distinctive corsetry and body sculpting silhouette.

When I think of Hari Nef’s style completely sheer dresses and cutlery spring to mind, which is why this Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2028 Haute Couture high-low tiered gown is refreshing.

I’m starting to believe that Heidi Klum has turned a corner style wise, because I’m not repelled by this beautiful Sophie Couture strapless design.

I love how the dramatic sleeves brought all the drama to Janelle James’ exquisite Monsoori gown.

You know I can’t resist this colour, so J. Smith Cameron in custom royal blue Christian Siriano was one of my favourites on the night.

I also adore the drapery from the shoulders. Divine. 

I’m usually a big fan of Karen Gillan’s style, but I couldn’t be more bored by this Iris Van Herpen Fall 2021 Haute Couture gown.

We’ve not only been there and done that, but allure is lost by the illusion panel around the neckline.

Rachel Brosnahan and Sergio Hudson have a beautiful working relationship.  The designer always makes the most breath-taking and alluring pieces for the actress, and this red corseted column gown with cascading buttons is no exception.

Christian Louboutin 513 red satin sandals completed her look.

I would love to be surprised by Reese Witherspoon one day, but that is not to say that I don’t like her in this Monique Lhuillier dress, because it suits her style personality to a T.

Jimmy Choo Anouk pumps and Tiffany & Co. Archives necklace and bracelet with earrings and ring in platinum and diamonds.

Sarah Rafferty kept things tonal wearing a Lanvin mint green scalloped hemmed gown with Tyler Ellis clutch.

I’m picturing this is a much deeper shade of emerald green.

Christian Louboutin blush mesh follies pumps and jewels from Yvonne Leon and Yanes completed her look.

Skai Jackson was the epitome of glamour wearing this sparkling Jenny Packham Fall 2023 silver sequin gown, even if the bodice looks a little bit too big.

A matching Tyler Ellis clutch completed her look.
