The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It was a jam-packed red carpet at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California, with 18 more more ladies joining Thandie Newton,  Emma StoneKiki LayneGemma Chan and Laura Harrier.

Emily Blunt: I was at first swept away by the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre Fall 2019 tulle polka dot dress, then I fell more in love with this look when I got to the yellow sandals.

Rachel Brosnahan: The colour of this weekend for Rachel was yellow. You were slightly underwhelmed by her Golden Globes offering, so how does this Christian Siriano Spring 2019 embellished sheath fare? The look was beautifully styled with yellow and gold Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

Rosamund Pike: It looks like the Pike x Givenchy union has a lot more to offer, and you’ll find me complaining following her Golden Globes outing and this flouncy Spring 2019 asymmetric dress. The only thing missing from this union is some colour every once in a while, as I’m worried this might hit a Rooney Mara “always black” brick wall. Pierre Hardy ‘Gena’ sandals completed her look.

Dita von Teese In Jenny Packham – Art Of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Dita von Teese In Jenny Packham - Art Of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala

Dita Von Teese was at her breath-taking best while attending Michael Muller’s ‘Heaven’ gala, presented by the Art of Elysium on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California.

The burlesque star wore a black corseted crystal embellished bodice and skirt from Jenny Packham Spring 2017 collection, styled in her own unique way with leather opera gloves, her signature red lip and a Christian Louboutin clutch.

Some may have a case of déjà vu – as this is a classic Dita look – others, like me, will appreciate the flawless execution.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham – Diplomatic Corps Reception

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham - Diplomatic Corps Reception

The royal family welcomed guests to the annual white tie Diplomatic Corps reception at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (December 4).

Yesterday I said that methinks that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has a new stylist, and this latest gown from Jenny Packham all but confirms it.

Could this be a more perfect princess moment?

I don’t think I have been this flushed with excitement for Catherine’s style since her 2011 Jenny Packham dress worn to the ARK gala.

How can I explain this?

This is the most princessy princess dress the Duchess has worn. With feeling overwrought, and you know, too princessy. Grown up. Fit for a Queen. It makes sense in my mind.

There is just the right smattering of embellishments, the House of Garrard ‘Lovers Knot’ tiara of course enhances the regal air, and the accessories which included the yellow Royal Family Order, silver box clutch and earrings rounded things of perfectly.

This is infinitely better than the Alexander McQueen gown she wore back in October. Hopefully Jenny Packham will be her go-to designer for these events in the future.

Which of Catherine’s three looks would you want up for BDOTW? Or is that a silly question?

Emily Mortimer In Jenny Packham – ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ LA Premiere

Emily Mortimer In Jenny Packham - 'Mary Poppins Returns' LA Premiere

Emily Mortimer attended the premiere of her latest film, ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ on Thursday (November 29) in Los Angeles, California, joining Karen Gillan.

The actress wore an ivory sequin embellished gown with 3D floral appliqué from Jenny Packham’s Spring 2019 collection, which she styled with a red velvet envelope clutch to prevent the look from feeling too bridal.

I adore the gown and the way the embellishments added festive flair, but I found her hairstyle a little underwhelming.

2018 Governors Awards

2018 Governors Awards

The 2018 Governors Awards on Sunday (November 18) in Hollywood, California were a star-studded affair. Lovely ladies joined Rosamund Pike and Lupita Nyong’o.

Emily Blunt: The ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ actress glimmered in a custom Dundas top and skirt with Jimmy Choo shoes and David Yurman jewels. Despite the plethora of crop tops we have seen, this sharp-shouldered style held my attention thanks to the luxurious mix of metallics.

Gemma Chan: The flowing shape of the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star’s Stella McCartney ensemble was accented with the pleated shoulder detail. The finishing touches and wrinkles bring it down slightly.

Amy Adams: She lightened up in a whimsical Schiaparelli gown. The refined silhouette balances the girlish pink tones and heart detail. A crushed velvet Tyler Ellis clutch brought in more feminine charm.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham – The Tusk Conservation Awards

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham - The Tusk Conservation Awards

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a glamorous appearance at the Tusk Conservation Awards on Thursday evening (November 8) in London.

The Duchess looked picture perfect in her stunning aqua green Jenny Packham Spring 2012 gown, which she styled with a matching Jenny Packham bespoke clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Vamp’ sandals.

If you are having a case of deja vu, that’s because this is the second time that Catherine has worn this dress.

Back in 2012 she wore the same dress with the exact same accessories. The only thing different is her hairstyle and her Remberance Day poppy.

The original look ranks as one of my favourites from Catherine. Like her last repeat, the hairstyle is much preferred the first time around.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham – The Imperial War Museum Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham - The Imperial War Museum Visit

Now that Meghan and Harry have officially finished their whirlwind 16-day tour of the Oceania region (the happy couple heads home tomorrow), royal watchers turn their attention back to London, where Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was visiting an exhibit at the Imperial War Museums today (October 31).

For the engagement, the Duchess chose to wear a rich French blue dress by Jenny Packham, which she first wore during her trip to Canada in 2016.

There were similarities in the styling with Gianvito Rossi nude heels and matching Mulberry clutch, but the fascinator and brooch from the first outing make this feel like a completely different look.
