2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup
Here is a roundup from the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party which took place on Sunday (March 12), following the 2023 Oscars.
I’m usually a fan of Alexandra Daddario’s style but this black sequin Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2022 Haute Couture dress looked too big for her.
You may remember that Cate Blanchett wore a pink version of this dress to the ‘Tar’ London premiere.
Allison Williams dazzled in this Galvan London gold gown styled with Cartier Jewelry, but I have a feeling some will not be in favour of her neutral makeup here.
Billie Eilish took over the red carpet wearing a Rick Owens gown styled with a strapless Agent Provocateur Bellah corset which has me questioning, “is there such a thing as too much fabric?”
I want to say that Chloe and Halle Bailey have turned a corner, but I’m trying not to tempt fate, especially with Halle’s promo tour around the corner.
So I will say both sisters were much improved with Chloe giving us diva glamour in David Koma, while Halle looked stunning once again styling her metallic Maison Yeya strapless gown with Jimmy Choo pumps.
My first thought when I saw Daisy Edgar-Jones in this Gucci embellished dress is that the undergarment should’ve been more invisible.
And has no one heard of a nude catsuit?
Deepika Padukone wore the perfect party piece in this Naeem Khan Fall 2023 feathered mini dress.
Eiza González looked breath-taking wearing an Oscar de la Renta ethereal, feather accented gown styled with a Bulgari necklace.
Gabrielle Union usually stands out at this event, so by her standards I was a little underwhelmed by this Ralph Lauren dress.
Hailee Steinfeld wasn’t about to be left cold in her Ermanno Scervino beaded sheer dress.
Iris Apatow piqued my interest wearing this copper Colin LoCascio flower applique dress, but the lack of eyebrows will always freak me out.
Janelle Monáe’s love for anything sheer, cut-out or exposed continued with this Area gown.
Jessica Alba looked amazing, but her Carolina Herrera strapless gown was too long.
Kylie Jenner wore a Maison Margiela gown which was beautiful but it failed to stand out on this red carpet.
Li Jun Li looked beautiful wearing a Nensi Dojaka Spring 2023 gown, which you’ll be happy to see featured an additional lining that wasn’t present on the runway.
Marion Cotillard wasn’t nominated or presenting, so this muted Chanel offering was to be expected.
I wasn’t crazy about Mindy Kaling’s first look, but she was much improved wearing this Prabal Gurung slinky dress.
Rita Ora served up a goth bridal look in Weiderhoeft.
Rooney Mara simply put a red tailcoat over her Alexander McQueen look from the main event.
The actress first wore this Alexander McQueen Spring 2016 coat to the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 7th Annual Governors Awards.
Fendi and an awful night. This Fendi Couture dress is incredibly unflattering on Sienna Miller, as it makes her look so boxy.
Nina Ricci is getting a lot of love after Harris Reed took over as creative director.
The designer’s high-octane aesthetic frequently experiments with lines of asymmetry, and manipulating luxe fabrications as showcased by Simone Ashley’s dress.
Sofia Vergara takes us back 5 years with this Naeem Khan embellished strapless dress.
Stephanie Hsu came to the party in this Raisa Vanessa mini dress styled with Cartier Jewelry.
Vanessa Hudgens was back to her sultry best in Roberto Cavalli.
Why didn’t Zoë Saldana wear this Cartier cape and Michael Kors Collection maxi skirt to the main event?
I could’ve got on board with Zooey Deschanel in this Iris Van Herpen Haute Couture dress, but the hairstyle feels too retro inspired for this dress.
A Cult Gaia clutch and Jimmy Choo pumps completed her look.
