Cate Blanchett Wore Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture To The ‘Tar’ London Premiere

Cate Blanchett was also in London for the premiere of her new film, ‘Tar’ which took place on Wednesday (January 11).

The actress who can turn her hand to just about anything opted for a bit of disco shimmer wearing a custom Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture pink lurex velvet, long sleeve gown inspired by the Spring 2022 collection, with a stunning pair of Louis Vuitton Spring 2023 earrings.  

I love that she opted for a colour other than black, as she wore a lot of black in 2022.

But I’m kinda surprised by how long this dress is considering it was a custom creation.

Long at the back is a train.  Long at the front doesn’t really make sense to me, unless this is a new trend that I’m not to date with.

Am I nit-picking (again), or did this gown need to be shorter?
