Amber Heard In Oscar de la Renta – 2018 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Amber Heard In Oscar de la Renta - 2018 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Amber Heard joined Lupita Nyong’o at the 2018 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Monday (November 12) in New York City.

The ‘Aquaman’ actress offered plenty of movement with her Oscar de la Renta Spring 2019 dress. I’m sure many were waiting for her to shimmy to showcase the long fringe.

The drop waist on the lace bodice is a tricky proportion to pull off, but she carried it off well with her statuesque beauty.

Those questioning the choice of black pumps should know she finished the look with a black blazer while on stage.

Lupita Nyong’o In Oscar de la Renta – 2019 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony

Lupita Nyong'o In Oscar de la Renta - 2019 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony

Lupita Nyong’o was back on the red carpet for the 2019 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony held on Sunday (November 4) in Mountain View, California.

The actress was offering high-octane glamour in Oscar de la Renta’s lamé mousseline tiered gown from the Spring 2019 collection.

I love how the luxe look captures the glamorous feel of the American label thanks to the metallic gold finish, and how Lupita incorporates that into her hair with her Bae Locs.

As always, she looks like a true African queen.

Emily Ratajkowski In Oscar de la Renta – TheWrap’s Power Women Summit

Emily Ratajkowski In Oscar de la Renta - TheWrap’s Power Women Summit

Emily Ratajkowski joined Felicity Jones on the red carpet for TheWrap’s Power Women Summit on Thursday (November 01) in Los Angeles, California.

With a tasseled skirt and a multi-hued pattern, this Oscar de la Renta Spring 2019 look was a study in bohemian style made even more chic by its styling.

We all know Emily loves to show off her body – did you see her Halloween costume? – but this look married sexy and elegance in equal measures.

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands UK State Visit

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands State Visit To London

Queen Elizabeth II hosted the King and Queen of the Netherlands for the first UK state visit by Dutch monarchy for 36 years this week.

Day 1: King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands were treated to a grand ceremonial welcome as they arrived for their first UK state visit on Tuesday (October 23). Queen Maxima, who is known for her ultra-chic wardrobe, showed off her sartorial prowess in a bespoke Claes Iversen skirt suit styled with Gianvito Rossi pumps. My wish for this look would be for a smaller belt.

State Dinner: For this grand occasion, which was also attended by Kate Middleton, there was only one designer the Queen would turn to; Jan Taminiau of course. The Queen and the Dutch designer have had many magic moments together and this ombre gown with sheer cape ranks highly. The Dutch royal’s outfit was accessorised with an extra-special headpiece – the Stuart tiara featuring the Stuart diamond – which made its first appearance since Queen Juliana’s 1972 State Visit to the UK.

Day 2: On Wednesday (October 24), the Queen showcased her love for bold colour wearing a beautiful bright pink dress with black floral detail by Oscara de la Renta, teaming her long-sleeved dress with accessories. The royal’s outfit was breath taking with its vibrant hue and I just love the retro silhouette.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Oscar de la Renta – Australian Geographic Society Awards

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Oscar de la Renta - Australian Geographic Society Awards

It seems like I spoke to soon about Meghan Markle’s black Aquazzura pumps because she wore them again today (October 26) for the Australian Geographic Society Awards in Sydney, Australia, but I don’t care because we FINALLY we have a Princess moment from the Duchess.

Meghan wore a decadent Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2018 dress featuring birds in flight – which tied in with the Duchess presenting the evening’s Young Conservationist of the Year award.

I love the lightness this tulle gown gives this dress. It might be too Disney princess for some, but for but I think the length keeps things modern.

For me this is the best she has looks so far….and I’m talking ever. Not since her wedding dress.

Variety’s Power Of Women: Los Angeles

Variety’s Power Of Women Los Angeles

Variety’s Power of Women event saw many more celebrities join Natalie Portman and Thandie Newton in Los Angeles on Friday (October 12).

Regina King: The actress put the capital ‘P’ in power suit when she donned this hot-pink Oscar De La Renta suit styled with Nicholas Kirkwood ‘VV’ pumps and jewels from EF Collection and Melinda Maria.

Gina Rodriguez: I love the alluring detailing of this Rasario trend-focused print dress; dotted with playful black polka-dots set against a white background for a truly fresh look. Alexis Bittar jewels and white pumps completed her look.

Olivia Culpo: The model made fuchsia her go-to colour for the evening matching her Sally LaPointe Spring 2019 sequin embroidered blazer dress to her Saint Laurent ‘Lou Lou’ bag and pointy pumps. At times Olivia’s style is perceived as a little bit too contrived, but on this occasion everything is very complementary.
