Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture – Ascot Racecourse

Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture - Ascot Racecourse

Rita Ora was the headline act at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday (August 11) in Berkshire, England.

As you know the British entertainer’s style ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous, so where does this Jean Paul Gauliter Spring 2018 Couture look rank?

For me, I love it as a performance look.

The corded blue short set has plenty of character and personality.

The styling – including the fringed boots, contemporary shades and AN Itchy Scratchy Patchy beret – shows me she was determined to put on quite a show.

I would rather this, than another leotard look as a performance look any day.

Rita Ora In Alberta Ferretti Couture – Unicef Summer Gala

Rita Ora In Alberta Ferretti Couture - Unicef Summer Gala

Following her stunning red carpet entrance, Rita Ora changed for her performance at the Unicef Summer Gala on Friday (August 10) in Porto Cervo, Italy.

Now this is what I call a performance piece.

Methinks Florence Welch would’ve had her eye on Rita’s Alberta Ferretti Fall 2018 Couture kaftan, as this fluid, dramatic piece is very much what we’re used to seeing from the red-haired singer.

Rita very much made it her own, swinging out to the music to showcase the volume and fringe work, while using the sequins to reflect the light to dazzle the audience.

Styled with Giuseppe Zanotti silver sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, this caps off two great looks in one night for Rita.

Rita Ora In Ralph & Russo Couture – Unicef Summer Gala

Rita Ora In Ralph & Russo Couture - Unicef Summer Gala

Even with Sofia Carson and Nicole Scherzinger taking to the red carpet in bold red looks for the Unicef Summer Gala on Friday (August 10) in Porto Cervo, Italy, Rita Ora stole the spotlight.

I think it’s safe to say there is a growing majority of us, who want a little bit more than the typical embellished gowns from the big fashion Couturiers, and it looks like Ralph and Russo have answered that call.

I’m hypnotized by not only the construction of this raspberry, tangerine, purple satin panel gown, featuring draped crossover bodice and navy silk velvet ribbon detailing from the Fall 2018 Couture collection, but also by the way Rita is selling the look.

The singer accessorized with Sophia Webster ‘Lucia’ pumps and Chopard jewels.

Do you love this as much as I do, or do you just see a mish mash of draped fabrics?

Rita Ora In Koché – BBC Radio One

Rita Ora In Koché - BBC Radio One

My three loves are football, fashion and fitness.

I’m super excited that the premier league season kicks off this weekend after an amazing World Cup as I regularly go to the Emirates to see my team, Arsenal, play.

The one thing I have always wanted as a female football fan, is a customized, more feminine football jersey.

It looks like Koché is just the designer to make my dreams come true, as she created this Spring 2018 dress as worn by Rita Ora earlier today (August 6), as she was spotted leaving BBC Radio One studios in London.

The reworked Paris Saint Germain’s jersey spliced with lace for a more feminine take was styled with Kenzo’s Spring 2019 sunglasses and perspex heels which is becoming a huge trend this summer.

It’s one summer trend I find baffling – along with velvet – considering this heatwave.

What a strange way to actively encourage sweaty feet.

You may remember that Beyonce Knowles was spotted donning a crystal-embellished top from this same collection last month.
