Rita Ora Has Five Major Fashion Moments In Three Days

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Rita Ora In Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2018 Haute Couture - Out In New York City 'Phoenix'

Whilst promoting her new album ‘Phoenix,’ Rita Ora had no shortage of five major fashion moments in only three days. This comes after her dressy outing for ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’. If you were loving every minute of that extravagant look, then just wait for this next set.

Upon departing The Mercer Hotel in New York City on Monday (December 17), the songstress rocked a dramatic design from the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2018 Haute Couture collection. An avant-garde raincoat with the sharpest Le Smoking tailoring was served up here — with the bauble earrings, sci-fi sunglasses, and hot-pink lip only adding to the modern Matrix vibe.

Rita Ora In Marc Jacobs – Live with Kelly & Ryan

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon Features Rita Ora In Marc Jacobs - Live with Kelly & Ryan

Rita Ora made a guest appearance on the ‘Live with Kelly & Ryan’ show this morning (December 17) in New York City, where she promoted her new album, ‘Phoenix.’

Fans of Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2019 collection will be excited to see another look so soon after Zendaya’s outing last week.

I know some might be thinking, “this ruffled dress with a mini train is a bit OTT for a morning show.”

But when has Rita ever played it safe?

I love how this look suits Rita’s vibrant personality. Marc Jacobs voluminous ruffles aren’t that easy to pull off, but Rita carries herself very well here.

Unlike Diane Kruger, the singer did opt for tights from Wolford, with Aquazzura pumps and a pretty pink lip completing her look.

Rita Ora In Moschino – Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Rita Ora In Moschino - Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball

Rita Ora attended the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at The O2 Arena on Saturday (December 8) in London.

For Spring 2019, I don’t think there was a collection with a more distinct identity as Moschino.

When you think of colourful sketches, you think of Moschino.

While you may have thought this was a “one and done” collection, as Cardi B has already worn a look, Rita wasn’t afraid to step out in this bow-backed mini.

She really made the look her own with the old Hollywood glam styling.

It’s not easy to commit to a totally look like this – gloves and all – but I feel like Rita was selling a story and a character here, and I totally bought into it.

Rita Ora In Iris van Herpen Haute Couture – Cartier Precious Garage Party

Rita Ora In Iris van Herpen Haute Couture - Cartier Precious Garage Party

Like Bella Heathcote, Rita Ora was making waves on the red carpet at the Cartier Precious Garage Party on Friday (November 29) in Sydney, Australia.

The singer wore a beige Iris van Herpen Fall 2018 Haute Couture dress for the occasion; a designer I’m surprised she hasn’t worn before now.

I could wax lyrical about the futuristic elements of the dress, and how the wind created a dramatic billowing effect on the red carpet (which she took full advantage of for an impromptu photoshoot), but I feel that this look might be judged solely on the visible underwear.

And this would be unfair considering other Iris van Herpen wearers such as Naomi Campbell, Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey opted not to wear undergarments, but then some might point to Lady Gaga who opted for a Wolford bodysuit with her look.

Personally, I think she nailed it. And I believe she’s hit a rich vein of form at the moment.

Rita Ora In Marchesa, Ashton Michael & Julien Macdonald – ARIA Awards 2018

Rita Ora In Marchesa, Ashton Michael & Julien Macdonald - ARIA Awards 2018

We’re coming to the end of the year, and things are slowing down, but that doesn’t seem to apply to Rita Ora.

The British singer was on triple duty at 2018 ARIA Awards today (November 28) in Sydney, Australia, where she took to the red carpet before performing and presenting an award. So of course she needed three outfits.

Red Carpet: The mood was ethereal in Marchesa’s Spring 2019 gown. I love how this piece offers alluring petal-like tiers with ombre hues that exudes fantastical illusions. This is one of my favourites looks from Rita this year.

Celebrities Love…the Prada Sidonie Bag

Celebrities Love...the Prada Sidonie Bag

Style darlings have a new bestie around; she’s curvy, chic, and cool — and she goes by the name of ‘Sidonie’. And, she’s lately been spotted on the arms of a number of PYTs.

The Prada ‘Sidonie’ bag is fresh from the Resort 2019 collection, and the purse is a beautiful union of form and function with its harmonious lines, distinct flap closure, and a leather handle that offers a polished mood for any outfit (or occasion).

The sassy red variation was spotted on Rita Ora, warming up her winter street-style look while Hailee Steinfeld went for a head-to-toe Prada look while in Bilbao, Spain for the MTV EMAs; her black bag was a sophisticated finish to her ditzy-floral granny sweater and girly hot-pink chiffon.

Other pretties the likes of Kaia Gerber, Yara Shahidi, and Bella Hadid have also been seen with the ‘Sidonie’ at their side, showing off her off with nonchalant panache — from snakeskin-spiked, urban-cowgirl style to grunge-forward denim.

After all, that versatility is what makes the bag such a beauty.

And, can we just take an extra minute to admire Yara’s two-tone athleisure statement — bag and outfit — each of which perfectly plays off the other.

No wonder the ‘Sidonie’ is the most stylish, new BFF around.

Rita Ora In Moncler 4 Simone Rocha – 2018 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Rita Ora In Moncler 4 Simone Rocha - 2018 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Rita Ora performed her hit song ‘Let You Love Me’ at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on Thursday (November 22) in New York City.

Keeping the commentary strictly about fashion, the British singer was no doubt grateful to her stylist – Jason Rembert – for dressing her in this Moncler 4 Simone Rocha Fall 2018 puffer coat which was embellished with bead and sequin flowers – a signature of Simone Rocha.

The other signature was the sheer lace skirt of course.

Bravo to Rita for braving the New York chill. I would’ve needed several layers of tights or jeans to step out in this look.

From the neck up, the singer appeared to be channeling her inner Marilyn Monroe with the plump red pout, blow-out and Dannijo crystal Gladiolus earrings.
