Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Wore Emilia Wickstead For The Visit Of The President of Ukraine

Today (October 7), the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held an audience with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine and First Lady Olena Zelenska at Buckingham Palace in London, which is the first palace event for the royals since lockdown.

The Duchess chose a few favourites for today.

Blue. Her favourite colour, and one of her favourite designers, Emilia Wickstead.

The cornflower blue is the most significant thing here, because this shade is the same colour that you will see on the Ukrainian flag.

When it comes to Catherine and her bespoke Emilia Wickstead dresses, they mostly feature a square neckline, so this one was definitely new with its v-neckline.

However, the knee length and fit-and-flare silhouette are signatures we have seen on her other dresses by this designer.

Catherine styled her look with Gianvito Rossi ‘Praline’ pumps and sapphire jewels.

When it came to her beauty look she kept things natural, with a nude lip, while her dark hair was styled in her classic bouncy blow dry.

William, meanwhile, complemented his wife’s elegant outfit in his signature dark suit.
