The Chanel Fall 2020 presentation was held on Tuesday (March 3) during Paris Fashion Week. Here’s a look at the front row.
Margaret Qualley: The Chanel ambassador and face of the Chanel Spring 2020 Eyewear campaign, Margaret donned a Chanel Pre-Fall 2020 little red dress styled with Chanel shoes and jewels. I like the classic ladylike nature of the look, mixed the whimsical spirit of the metallic bow-topped heels to add a youthful tone.
Janelle Monae: With a more seductive spin on Chanel, Janelle donned a Chanel Pre-Fall 2020 look in her favoured monochromatic palette, paired with the same shoes as Margaret. The Chanel accessories, including the bejeweled choker — and the plaited pigtails — are really what infused the ensemble with Janelle’s unique style.
Pom Klementieff: The actress took this Chanel Spring 2020 tweed short set and made it her own. I like how she pared it down and edged it up from its original presentation with the black tank and patent Chanel booties.
Grace VanderWaal: This Chanel Spring 2020 ensemble had all the age-appropriate youthfulness for the 16-year-old singer-songwriter. Yet the look was also simultaneously insouciant with a rebellious edge to its girlishness, thanks to the Chanel chokers, mini bag, and ballet flats.
Emily Beecham: Representing both the 90s (stirrup pants) and the 80s (bold shoulder), the British actress was still thoroughly modern in a Chanel Pre-Fall 2020 ensemble with Chanel accessories and shoes. I love the contrast of the black and white with her strawberry-red hair.
Maggie Rogers: I think this tweed suiting from the Chanel Fall-Winter 2020 Act 1 Ready-to-Wear collection translated as a bit mature for the 25-year-old singer, as it was a bit aging — almost frumpy — on her. Which I hate to say, since it’s a look hot off the runway. The look was styled with Chanel eyewear, accessories, bag, and shoes.
