2018 People’s Choice Awards

2018 People's Choice Awards

There was much to see at the 2018 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 11) in Santa Monica, California, with celebrities joining Danai Gurira and Kat Graham.

Emeraude Toubia: The ‘Shadowhunters’ actress warmed up the red carpet in a creamy orange Solace London gown. Had it been a few shades darker, it would have really brought out her complexion.

Alisha Wainwright: Emeraude’s costar made an even bolder statement in striped Maggie Marilyn Resort 2019 with Atelier Swarovski jewels. I wish for a sleek bun or pony because the big hair and silhouette are creating a strong retro mood.

Mila Kunis: Always partial to a black dress, ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ actress was attired in Alex Perry. The Christian Louboutin ‘Degrastrass’ pumps added a magical touch.

‘White Boy Rick’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

'White Boy Rick' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

The ‘White Boy Rick’ premiere was also on Saturday (September 8) during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.

Matthew McConaughey: I love the colour of this aubergine Strong Suit tailoring styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Cousin Top Daviol’ dress shoes. I do think the fit could have been perfected just a bit more.

Camila Alves: It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen Camila on the red carpet, and she returned in fine form with this white Romona Keveža Spring 2017 dress with a whisper of romantic chiffon wrapping around it. Styled with APM Monaco jewels, the look could definitely seem bridal. But, the shortened dress helped mitigate that mood.

Front Row @ Tom Ford Spring 2019

Front Row @ Tom Ford Spring 2019

Fashion Month is upon us, with Tom Ford kicking of the new Spring 2019 season with his fashion show in New York on Wednesday (September 5), a day before the official start – which is today.

Abbey Lee Kershaw: The majority opted for black or (and) white at this event, so the model stood out in this vampy Tom Ford Fall 2018 red leopard print mini dress. The look was styled with classic black Tom Ford accessories and earrings that could double up as a bracelet.

Henry Golding: The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star was looking as dapper as ever in a classic a Tom Ford suit with the signature wide lapels. Some might say cocktail waiter, I’m saying impossibly handsome and debonair.

Cardi B: I was very taken by the rapper in this Tom Ford Spring 2018 figure-flattering, classic design. Demure by her standards, I love how the earrings add some wow factor. Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Harmony’ sandals completed her look.

Pom Klementieff In Chanel – ‘BlacKkKlansman’ LA Premiere

Pom Klementieff In Chanel - ‘BlacKkKlansman’ LA Premiere

Pom Klementieff joined Laura Harrier for the ‘BlacKkKlansman’ premiere on Wednesday (August 8) in Beverly Hills, California.

You won’t be surprised to see the actress don yet another look from Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection.

I love the way she popped the collar to bring about a fresh attitude to this black glitter tweed jumpsuit and jacket, but the overall look felt very similar to her last Chanel outing at the Haute Couture show last month.

Front Row @ Chanel Fall 2018 Haute Couture

Chanel presented their Fall 2018 Haute Couture show in Paris on Tuesday (July 3), with a host of stars, including their most loyal ambassadors in the front row.

Penelope Cruz: The Spanish actress was portraying a Parisian princess in her Chanel tweed dress and beret comb. I adored this look from head-to-toe as it was such and fun departure for Penelope.

Liu Wen: The model was appropriately dressed for the heatwave in this easy, breezy chiffon cool-blue Chanel dress. She continues to be my best dressed model.

Ellie Bamber: As one of Chanel’s official ambassadors, I wasn’t surprised to see the British actress in the front row. Oozing the same charm we got from Penelope’s look – thanks to the beret – my favourite part of this look was her Lifebuoy Chanel bag.

Pom Klementieff In Altuzarra – amfAR GenCure Solstice 2018

Pom Klementieff attended the amfAR GenCure Solstice 2018 on Thursday (June 21) in New York City.

The actress wore an Altuzarra blue tie-dyed dress from Barneys XO Capsule Collection styled with a black velvet ‘Kiss’ bag from the Fall 2018 collection.

I love the dress for its vibrant mix of colours but Pom, surprisingly, isn’t really selling the look to me.

Better grooming was needed here.

Pom Klementieff In Miu Miu – ‘Damsel’ LA Premiere

Pom Klementieff joined Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson for the premiere of Magnolia Pictures’ ‘Damsel’ on Wednesday (June 13) in Hollywood, California.

The ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ star wore a Miu Miu Automne 2018 look which would have turned heads thanks to the graphically charged pussy bow blouse.

I love how the look is kept elegant, fresh and modern with the scalloped hem skirt, and how she dared to play up the print with her makeup and earrings.

Were the earrings overkill for you?

Chanel Dinner Celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’

Chanel hosted a dinner celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’, A Benefit For NRDC on Saturday (June 2) in Malibu, California with several notable guests in attendance.

When it comes to Sofia Boutella, Pom Klementieff, Rainsford Qualley and Brigette Lundy-Paine, their Chanel looks have been worn before respectively by Jhene Aiko, Greta Gerwig, Mackenzie Foy and Diane Kruger.

With Chanel, the looks are so distinctive that is can be hard to make it your own, but I think each woman (Sofia, Pom and Brigette especially) managed this successfully.

Pom Klementieff In Chanel – ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ LA Premiere

Pom Klementieff was also in attendance at the LA premiere of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ on Monday (April 23), alongside Sophie Hunter and Benedict CumberbatchLaura Harrier and Danai Gurira.

The actress opted to show some leg in a ladylike Chanel Spring 2018 outfit.

It has many classic elements of the designer with the sharp clean lines giving it such structure, but I’m missing the wow factor I expect at a premiere.

It all feels a bit too subdued. The long ponytail adds some interest, but it’s not clearly visible in most photos.

What do you think?

Pom Klementieff In Altuzarra & Bottega Veneta – Avengers Infinity War’ Seoul Press Conference & Premiere

I always get excited to see what Pom Klementieff serves up on the red carpet, as she’s not afraid to rock a range of style personalities. She gave us a duo of looks that were both prim and punchy for the ‘Avengers Infinity War’ Seoul press conference and premiere in South Korea on Thursday (April 12).

Press Conference: We may think of an edgy-forward vibe when we think of Pom, but she took a decidedly ladylike route in this Altuzarra Eileen striped top and skirt from the Resort 2018 collection. Yet I love how the off-kilter top and the mega-sized belt added a layer of directional edge to take the prim-chic look to the next level.

2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

The crush of beauties continued in full force on the red carpet of the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Odeya Rush: The young starlet was a vision in this neon-bright chartreuse Vivienne Westwood Couture gown. The sculptural, one-shoulder ruffle detail is nothing we haven’t seen before, but the bold colour made the look feel dynamic. I do think she could have offered up a more youthful beauty look—and less bronzer—to accompany the sophisticated sass of the gown.

Dree Hemingway: There was a delicate daintiness to this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 nude, embellished lace gown, which Dree echoed in her minimal hair and makeup. The yellow-tinged, ribbon belt made all the difference in breathing a bit of life into the neutral dress, with Repossi jewels to complete the look.

Chanel Celebrates the Chanel Beauty House and @WeLoveCoco

On Wednesday (February 28), Chanel hosted a cocktail party to debut the Chanel Beauty House in celebration of @WeLoveCoco, a new instagram community dedicated to user-generated beauty content.

Hollywood influencers showcased an array of styles from classic to more contemporary.

Ava Phillippe: This fresh take on Chanel signature boucle was injected with plenty of youthful flare thanks to her colourful accessories.

Kristen Stewart: While I love that the Chanel ambassador made this Pre-Fall 2018 look her own, a part of me wishes she kept the runway knitted boots.

Mackenzie Foy: Colour-blocking has never felt so fun and vibrant. Like Ava, Mackenzie’s accessories enhance the look.
