Amira Casar In Christian Dior Haute Couture – The Dead Don’t Die’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Like Charlotte Gainsbourg, Amira Casar also opted to go short for the opening ceremony and ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ premiere of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 14).

Even though this Christian Dior Haute Couture piece was a mini, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by the look — starting with the tulle ruffle that nearly swallowed the dress whole.

Then, the accessories were another story with the single earring, the gigantic beaded bangles, and the headband — together with the polka dot tights and dual-tone metallic shoes.

Forget Coco Chanel’s mantra of taking one thing off before you leave home; the whole lot of this needed to come off.
