2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more gorgeous ladies who joined Emily Blunt, Laura Harrier, Regina King and Emma Stone on the red carpet for the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala on Thursday (January 3) in California.

Glenn Close: The actress opted to keep things simple and elegant in her INGIE Paris black wrap jumpsuit styled with Cartier jewels, Christian Louboutin’s ‘Yasling’ slingbacks and ‘Palmette’ clutch.

Yalitza Aparicio: Ezra Miller deservedly picked up the best newcomer of 2018, but my runner up was Yalitza, because like me she loves colour, and usually prints, but on this occasion she kept things simple,  yet bold in this red custom Adeam tuxedo dress. I love how the chiffon skirt provides an interesting, more feminine balance to the structure of everything up top.  David Yurman jewels completed her look.

Linda Cardellini: The actress was definitely projecting a summery mood in her Monique Lhuillier Spring 2019 butterfly guipure lace strapless bell skirt dress. Dainty, but not twee, the look was styled with APM Monaco jewels and a Tyler Ellis Lee pouchet.

Olivia Colman: Picking up the Desert Palm Achievement Award, the British actress looked very smart in her suiting option. Naturally I’m drawn to the lustrous emerald-green velvet, but I also love the tailcoat style of the blazer. Chopard jewels from the ‘Haute Joaillerie’ collection completed her look.

Melissa McCarthy: The actress was giving us a bit of retro disco glamour in her Daneh silver metallic jumpsuit styled with a fringe accented Tyler Ellis ‘Meme’ pouch.

Marina De Tavira: While the ‘Roma’ actress looks gorgeous in this custom Michael Kors Collection dress inspired by the Fall 2018 collection, I feel like something is missing. An emerald clutch or bold red lip perhaps?
