2018 Baby2Baby Gala
Glamorous ladies were out in full force at the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday (November 10) in California. They attended alongside Olivia Munn, Amy Adams and Rachel Bilson.
Kelly Rowland: The singer shimmered in a custom Krikor Jabotian gown and Sarah Flint shoes. The jewels added even more sparkle to the megawatt look. It would have made for a brilliant performance ensemble.
Lauren Conrad: Forgoing the night’s popular black theme, she decided on a softer approach in Rhea Costa and carried a top-handle bag.
Zoe Saldana: Opting for simplicity, the actress showcased structured tailoring in plunging Saint Laurent. With a pared-down design it made the dragging hem all the more obvious.
Jordana Brewster: The ‘Lethal Weapon’ actress championed the white trend with her Michael Kors Collection gown. The sparkling cups added some dimension and enhanced her décolletage.
Jessica Alba: The Honest Company founder brought the bewitching magic in Valentino’s Resort 2019 gown. The dark colour palette was invigorated with the tulle sleeves and the explosion of sparkle.
Jenna Dewan: Another beauty in white, the host mixed hard and soft elements with her pristine Reem Acra jumpsuit.
Molly Sims: Romance was at the forefront of her embroidered Marchesa Resort 2019 dress. It captures the aesthetic of the brand.
Leslie Mann: The funny lady also evoked a romantic spirit in Pamella Roland Spring 2019 but in a more subdued, abstract way with this beige floral design.
Olivia Culpo: The beauty took a darker turn in blue velvet Carmen March Fall 2018 with an inky Edie Parker clutch, but the fit of the bodice leaves something to be desired. Dena Kemp jewelry completed her look.
Rebecca Gayheart: The quilted jacket draped over the shoulders feels too casual for the gala, especially in comparison to other outfits. The shocking pink dress would have been more successful on its own with another shoe.
Sara Foster: Also in pink, the actress glistened in Monique Lhuillier. The style was suited to the event but the waist bow and necklace are so delicate that they get completely lost, rendering them unnecessary.
Jennifer Garner: Never one to overcook a look, the ‘Peppermint’ actress dressed up a minimalist tuxedo-inspired dress with just enough jewels.
Busy Philipps: The ‘Busy Tonight’ host went for unabashed 1960s retro flair in Monique Lhuillier with Stella Luna shoes and Irene Neuwirth jewels. The vintage beauty look makes it borderline costume-y, but it’s the gold box clutch that feels the most out of place.
Olivia Wilde: Breaking from the gown brigade, she looked sophisticated in tailored Givenchy with Beladora Jewelry, a LALA LÉXA clutch and Jimmy Choo shoes. Interestingly, it’s the zip that is the focal point.
