2017 Emmy Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is our roundup from Sunday’s 2017 Emmy Awards.

Shannon Purser: I felt this was quite a magical, fairytale moment for Shannon. Her custom Sachin and Babi gown was simply breath-taking. Not only in colour, but also in design. The look was styled with Swarovski jewels.

Judith Light: Some might say this Christian Siriano gown is dated, but Judith brings so much energy to the look, that one can’t help but be left in awe.

Samira Wiley: Christian Siriano always looks after the ‘OITNB’ crew. Samira looked beautiful her custom gown inspired by the Resort 2018 gown. The look was styled with a Jimmy Choo clutch, Butani diamond drop earrings, Djula diamond ring, and a Hearts on Fire diamond bracelet.

Chrissy Metz: The ‘This Is Us’ actress described her custom Lela Rose dress as a exciting moment saying she felt like a princess. And I couldn’t agree more. I love the petrol blue hue and smattering of embellishments. This is easily her best red carpet look to date.

Padma Lakshmi: I love Padma, she has great style But there was a “seen in, done it” feel about her Christian Siriano gown. Like many stars on the night she wore a blue ribbon as a symbol of solidarity with ACLU.

Sonequa Martin-Green: The actress was on-trend wearing a red Romona Keveža Fall 2017 gown. The necklace feels like an after-thought though.

Leslie Jones: A larger than life character, needed a epic gown, so up stepped Christian Siriano. What I love about his gowns, are that they always embody the spirit of the wearer, as seen by Judith above.

Marsai Martin: The ‘Blackish’ star looked adorable in her Rubin Singer asymmetrical dress. It appears she’s been taking style tips from her on-screen big sister.

Samantha Bee: I think I’m more entranced by the colour rather than the style of her custom Rubin Singer dress.

Alison Wright: I love the glitz and glam imbued by this Maria Lucia Hohan golden goddess look, even if I’m not totally sold on her hair.

Rhea Seehorn: The violet hue of her Romona Keveža gown made me go weak at the knees.

Shannon Woodward: I love the blush-hue of her Maria Lucia Hohan gown which she styled with a Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch.

Vanessa Bayer: Her infectious smile was just as pretty as her Zac Posen gown.

Kyra Sedgewick: This plum lace Elie Saab Fall 2017 gown oozed both elegance and sensuality.

Susan Kelechi Watson: Serving up a high dose of glam, the actress shimmed onto the red carpet wearing a Cristina Ottaviano Fall 2017 sculptural design.

Rachel Bloom: I wished this Gucci dress had a black rather than nude lining on the bust.
