Katie Holmes In Zac Posen – Harry Winston Unveils ‘New York Collection’

Katie Holmes In Zac Posen - Harry Winston Unveils 'New York Collection'

As the muse for Zac Posen, I wasn’t surprised to see Katie Holmes don the New York based designer for the unveiling of Harry Winston’s ‘New York Collection’ at The Rainbow Room on Thursday (September 20) in New York City.

What I was surprised by, was how much I didn’t like the dress.

Sorry, let me rephrase that because I do like the dress, but I failed to get on board with the pulls that made the fabric look less than expensive.

This was a crying shame to me because Katie has clearly put in a lot of effort with the hair and makeup, plus she selected a dress with a perfect neckline to showcase her Harry Winston jewels.

I wish my only gripe about this look was how the shoes didn’t complement her dress, because this had a lot of potential to be amazing.

Joey King In Zac Posen – 2018 Emmy Awards

Joey King In Zac Posen - 2018 Emmy Awards

Joey King was at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday (September 17) in LA, and if you’re already having a moment of déjà vu, it’s completely understandable.

It’s because this sweepingly romantic Zac Posen Resort 2019 gown is similar in form to the one that took our breath away on Miley Cyrus during her performance at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

That said, the dresses are different. And, I will never argue with another rendition of a frothy, whipped confection of perfectly sculpted tulle.

Heidi Klum In Zac Posen – 2018 Emmy Awards

Heidi Klum In Zac Posen - 2018 Emmy Awards

Heidi Klum has been on a winning streak and it continued at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday evening (September 17).

The German beauty showed off her figure in a Zac Posen Resort 2019 gown without a slit, sheer panel or illusion neckline to be seen.

Some might say the figure-enhancing draping didn’t need the Lorraine Schwartz jewels, but the combination made for a striking statement worthy of a red carpet. Plus, it suited her penchant for shine.

Was this a hit for you?

‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

'If Beale Street Could Talk' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

A trio of beauties were at the premiere of ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday (September 9) in Canada.

Regina King: My jaw is still on the floor after seeing Regina in this electric-blue Zac Posen stunner that created an impact not only by virtue of its intense hue but also by the seductive-glam hourglass fit. The only other thing she needed were Alexis Bittar pave teardrop post earrings.

Teyonah Parris: Exploded prints like the one in this Kenzo Fall 2018 look can sometimes be overwhelming. But, not so on Teyonah, as the abstract floral dress was a striking statement on her — although I do wish she had opted for a dark sandal instead to further streamline the look.

KiKi Layne: Rounding out this trio of bold and beautiful looks, Kiki donned a Gucci Fall 2018 side slit dress that was pretty in pink — with a cool edge in the colour-changing sheen.

2018 Fragrance Foundation Awards Red Carpet Roundup

There were a host of lovely ladies who joined Rita Ora, Hari Nef and Nina Dobrev for the 2018 Fragrance Foundation Awards on Tuesday (June 12) in New York City.

Chanel Iman: Remember the time when Chanel was serving up nothing but Princess gowns? Well it appears that with her body ever changing that Chanel is getting more in touch with her sultry side. Her Romona Keveža Collection red one-shoulder gown with a fluted skirt and high side slit from the Spring 2018 collection, which she styled with Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels, was absolutely breath-taking. She’s going to be one sexy mama.

Morena Baccarin: After her experimenting at the ‘Deadpool 2’ New York premiere, it was back to classic elegance for Morena who wore a Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2018 gown.

Olivia Palermo: While Olivia may feel a touch out of place in this trio, she – as always – stayed true to her style. The fashion editor looked super chic wearing a three-piece printed look from Brazilian brand Iorane with Christian Louboutin heels. I have a feeling that if I stare at this too long at this print I will become hypnotized.

2018 Tony Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the of some of the other stylish attendees at Sunday’s 2018 Tony Awards.

Cynthia Erivo: The singer wore a bewitching black vintage lace dress which was so skin tight I could make out the outline of her belly button among other things. Thankfully there was a layer of fringe work to add some drama along with that berry lip. Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Uzo Aduba: I was hit by the gorgeous colour of Uzo’s Cristina Ottaviano gown before taking in how flattering the look is.

Christine Baranski: My first reaction to Christine’s Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 suit was breathlessness, as she looks so chic. I just wish the trousers had held up better on her car ride to the event. Nonetheless she still rocks this with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
