Amy Adams In Zac Posen – 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Amy Adams In Zac Posen - 2019 Critics' Choice Awards

Amy Adams picked up Best Actress in a Movie/Miniseries for ‘Sharp Objects’ at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) in Santa Monica, California.

Cutting right to the chase. I was totally underwhelmed by this Zac Posen gown both from a design standpoint and for the event.

Her David Webb earrings go a long way to attempt to save this look, but sadly it drastically ages Amy for me.

I’m waiting for Amy’s awards season to ignite.

2019 National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features 2019 National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were a myriad of looks at the 2019 National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday (January 8) in New York City. Celebrities joined Olivia Wilde.

Regina King: Breaking from her recent pink outfits, the ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ actress wore a speckled Zac Posen gown which had a pattern that mimicked falling snow. The frilled bodice plays off the diagonal seaming.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: ‘The Kindergarten Teacher’ actress kept things understated in a neutral A.W.A.K.E. Spring 2019 dress. The earrings help enliven it but I would have chosen a different shoe.

Sophia Bush: Oozing Old Hollywood glamour, the actress was outfitted in a Zac Posen dress. This material is notorious for creasing and puckering so I commend the chic, liquid finish.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It was a jam-packed red carpet at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California, with 18 more more ladies joining Thandie Newton,  Emma StoneKiki LayneGemma Chan and Laura Harrier.

Emily Blunt: I was at first swept away by the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre Fall 2019 tulle polka dot dress, then I fell more in love with this look when I got to the yellow sandals.

Rachel Brosnahan: The colour of this weekend for Rachel was yellow. You were slightly underwhelmed by her Golden Globes offering, so how does this Christian Siriano Spring 2019 embellished sheath fare? The look was beautifully styled with yellow and gold Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

Rosamund Pike: It looks like the Pike x Givenchy union has a lot more to offer, and you’ll find me complaining following her Golden Globes outing and this flouncy Spring 2019 asymmetric dress. The only thing missing from this union is some colour every once in a while, as I’m worried this might hit a Rooney Mara “always black” brick wall. Pierre Hardy ‘Gena’ sandals completed her look.

Leslie Mann In Zac Posen – ‘Welcome To Marwen’ LA Premiere

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Leslie Mann In Zac Posen - ‘Welcome To Marwen’ LA Premiere

Leslie Mann joined Gwendoline Christie and Diane Kruger at the ‘Welcome To Marwen’ LA premiere on Monday (December 10).

The actress showed off her shape in a nipped Zac Posen Resort 2019 dress.

The designer is known for his feminine gowns and this fishtail style exemplifies this.

Printed with a two-tone overlapping dot design, the pattern adds a graphic finish that is more impactful than traditional polka dots.

Some could say the hair bow is a touch too twee, but methinks she gets away with it against the glamorous silhouette.

76th Annual Golden Globe Nominations Announcement

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the 76th Annual Golden Globe Nominations Announcement

It’s hard to believe that the 76th annual Golden Globe nominations announcement event is already here. But, it most certainly is, and Danai Gurira and Leslie Mann both showed up to help applaud the nominees on Thursday (December 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

Danai Gurira: The lime-green hue of this Emilia Wickstead Resort 2019 look is a revelation on Danai, as is the asymmetric midriff-baring design that subtly but effective flaunts her whittled middle. Christian Louboutin ‘Phoebe’ sandals and those fab braids finish it all off with a final sweep of perfection.

Leslie Mann: I have a hard time getting on board with the pumpkin-orange pumps with this Zac Posen Fall 2018 blush-pink frock. However, I could see a raspberry-red sandal working well to enhance the retro-vintage cues of the dress mixed with modern femininity.

Gigi Hadid In Zac Posen – 2019 Pirelli Calendar Launch Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Gigi Hadid In Zac Posen - 2019 Pirelli Calendar Launch Gala

Gigi Hadid joined Julia Garner for the 2019 Pirelli Calendar launch gala at HangarBicocca on Wednesday (December 5) in Milan, Italy.

I know many of you aren’t fans of Gigi’s red carpet style, but I’m sure you’ll agree that the only thing she was trying hard to do here, was look glamorous in Zac Posen’s Fall 2018 gown.

Modifying the neckline to showcase her jewels, the model presented a grown-up style of elegance we aren’t often used to seeing from her.

Is this BDOTW worthy?

Kelsea Ballerini In Zac Posen – 2018 CMA Awards

Kelsea Ballerini In Zac Posen - 2018 CMA Awards

Kelsea Ballerini joined Carrie Underwood and Olivia Culpo on the red carpet for the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer stood out in a shocking pink Zac Posen custom gown imbued with the designers signature fit, and construction.

If I were to nitpick about one thing, it would be the bow.

The gown feels so modern from the front, but the bow attempts to drag it into prom-territory.

David Yurman jewels accessorized her look.
