Florence Pugh Gives a Familiar Dior Jacket a New Personality

Following the East of Eden LA screening, Florence Pugh returned to the UK to continue her press tour with a photocall in London.

The British actress wore a Dior Fall 2026 brocade jacket as a mini dress, a label we haven’t seen her wear that often, if at all.

I know some of you will look at Florence in this and immediately think of Anya Taylor-Joy, who wore the same jacket to the LVMH Prize back in March. And you would be right, but this is where things get interesting, because the styling could not be more different.

Anya paired hers with cuffed jeans and black pumps, while Florence transformed the jacket into a mini dress with a crisp white shirt, bare legs, pink Dior Bow sandals and a ribbon in her hair. Same jacket, two completely different personalities.

And I absolutely love this on Florence. Wearing it as a mini breathes fresh life into the piece, while the playful styling feels so Flo. The bow sandals and ribbon could have been too sweet, but with this jacket, they just work.

And then there’s the runway, where it was styled with embellished jeans, giving us the original interpretation.

I’m just happy that the three times we have seen this jacket – on the runway, Anya and now Florence – it has looked completely different. That is exactly how a repeat should feel. This is styling in the truest sense of the word.
