Florence Pugh Archival Rodarte for ‘East of Eden’ Screening
Florence Pugh attended Netflix’s East of Eden screening, held at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills this week, following her appearance at the Emmys.

The actress wore a Rodarte Spring 2017 embroidered tulle capelet and tiered skirt, and it’s easy to see why this archival look appealed to her. Between the cropped silhouette – very Miss Flo – the sheer tulle, ruffles and embroidery, it has all the romantic eccentricity that has become a familiar part of Florence’s red carpet style.
The floral embroidery also happens to make sense for East of Eden. I wouldn’t put this in the method-dressing category, but considering the story’s connection to California’s Salinas Valley and farming, the botanical motif doesn’t feel entirely coincidental.

Silver pumps were a smart choice here, picking up the metallic embroidery. I also like how that silver thread continues into the beauty look, with her smoky metallic eye makeup complementing the details of the ensemble.
Bvlgari jewels, including a watch, completed the look.
