Front Row @ Valentino TKY Pre Fall 2019

Front Row @ Valentino TKY Pre Fall 2019

Valentino’s TKY 2019 Pre-Fall Show took place on Tuesday (November 27) in Tokyo, Japan with Amandla Stenberg and Elizabeth Debicki in attendance.

Amandla Stenberg: The actress had a breath-taking Valentino moment last month for ‘The Hate U Give’ London premiere, so I wasn’t surprised to see her at this event. The actress has never been afraid of taking risks or daring to be bold, and while the print of this dress was just that, the style was tad aging.

Elizabeth Debicki: The Australian actress also had a memorable Valentino Haute Couture moment during Cannes Film Festival, but on this occasion she kept things simple in Valentino’s Spring 2019 black lace dress with head-turning accessories from the same collection. The simplicity of the dress very much suits her no-fuss red carpet M.O.

2018 Governors Awards

2018 Governors Awards

The 2018 Governors Awards on Sunday (November 18) in Hollywood, California were a star-studded affair. Lovely ladies joined Rosamund Pike and Lupita Nyong’o.

Emily Blunt: The ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ actress glimmered in a custom Dundas top and skirt with Jimmy Choo shoes and David Yurman jewels. Despite the plethora of crop tops we have seen, this sharp-shouldered style held my attention thanks to the luxurious mix of metallics.

Gemma Chan: The flowing shape of the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star’s Stella McCartney ensemble was accented with the pleated shoulder detail. The finishing touches and wrinkles bring it down slightly.

Amy Adams: She lightened up in a whimsical Schiaparelli gown. The refined silhouette balances the girlish pink tones and heart detail. A crushed velvet Tyler Ellis clutch brought in more feminine charm.

Elizabeth Debicki In ADEAM – AFI FEST 2018 Gala Screening Of ‘Widows’

Elizabeth Debicki In ADEAM - AFI FEST 2018 Gala Screening Of 'Widows'

After participating in the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversation, Elizabeth Debicki stepped out at the AFI FEST 2018 gala screening Of ‘Widows’ on Wednesday (November 14) in Los Angeles, California.

I have enjoyed the actress’s sophisticated restraint throughout this tour and this ADEAM Spring 2019 outfit is another brilliant example.

She successfully merged two runway looks for a minimalist yet romantic ensemble that stays true to her style and showcases her height.

Nothing ever feels forced with her.

Elizabeth Debicki In Gabriela Hearst - SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: 'Widows'

Elizabeth Debicki continues on the promotion trail, this time attending SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: ‘Widows’ on Tuesday (November 13) in New York City.

She demonstrated how knits can be both relaxed and sophisticated with her off-the-shoulder Gabriela Hearst ‘Judy’ dress from Fall 2017.

The Australian actress resisted temptation to bedazzle the muted blue style with accessories. Her minimalist sensibility allowed the ribbed neckline and her framed shoulders to remain the focus.

She did add some colour with red boots, which she also wore to Build Series.

2018 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

2018 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

There were a host of ladies showing their support at the 2018 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Monday (November 12) in New York City. They joined Claire Danes and Janelle Monáe.

Coco Rocha: The models’ austere white Christian Siriano gown was given a whimsical finish with blue tulle adorning the sleeves. The playful detail had the appearance of feathers.

Elizabeth Debicki: The ‘Widows’ actress was sleek and supremely chic in Monse Pre-Fall 2018. The shimmering twisted fabric of the neckline made ornate jewels unnecessary and heightened the decadence of the black velvet.

‘Widows’ New York Special Screening & BUILD Series

'Widows' New York Special Screening & BUILD Series

Fashionable ladies joined Cynthia Erivo at the ‘Widows’ New York special screening on Sunday (November 11) followed by the BUILD Series on Monday (November 12).

Michelle Rodriguez: The actress brought sultry sophistication in Jill Stuart to the screening. The deep pink heels increase the feminine romance of the off-the-shoulder style considerably.

Viola Davis: Deviating slightly from the night’s black theme, she added some sumptuousness to the sensual sheer black outfit with the blue blazer. It’s a shame the tailoring brings it down because the top half seems a tad tight and the trousers too long.

Elizabeth Debicki: She looked like a tall drink of water in Giorgio Armani with Malone Souliers ‘Penelope’ pumps. It might not be the most memorable, but it oozed restrained elegance.

2018 British Academy Britannia Awards

2018 British Academy Britannia Awards

Three more ladies joined Cate Blanchett and Viola Davis for the 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards in LA on Friday (October 26).

Elizabeth Debicki: We’re used to restrained style of glamour from Elizabeth, but on this occasion was having a bit more fun in this Prada Spring 2019 dress with gold sequins anchoring the piece as a seductive, show-stopper.

Michelle Rodriguez: I love the cut and silhouette of this Ulyana Sergeenko black velvet gown, but I wish Michelle had done something more glam with her hair. It kinda feels “same as always.”

Emilia Clarke: Dior’s Spring 2019 collection continues to be a favourite with celebs, despite only being a month old. I was starting to think that Emilia was sticking with suiting for a while, but this blue tulle bustier dress showcases her return to soft femininity. The Dior black wool jacket perhaps shows that she has one hand still on tailoring options. Christian Louboutin ‘T Cab Tie’ sandals and stunning earrings completed her look.
