Julianna Margulies Delivers an Emmys Highlight in Cong Tri

Julianna Margulies attended the 2026 Emmy Awards to present her former The Good Wife co-star Michael J. Fox with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.

The actress tends to favour a classic approach to red carpet dressing, but this Cong Tri Fall 2026 gown pushed that familiar elegance in a more interesting direction.

The intricate pleating is immediately striking, but it’s the transition from vivid red to black that really makes the gown. Combined with the asymmetric draping, it gives Julianna something far more dynamic than her usual red carpet choices without feeling like a departure from her style.

What I love most is how beautifully she carries it. There is a lot happening between the pleating, colour gradation and asymmetric construction, yet none of it overwhelms her. This was easily one of my favourite looks of the night, and one of those occasions when stepping slightly outside your usual formula pays off.
