Celebrities at the 2026 Emmys

Nicolas Ghesquière dressed eight celebrities in Louis Vuitton for the 2026 Emmy Awards, delivering everything from sculptural gowns to classic tailoring.

Sculptural Chase Strikes Again

Chase Infiniti wore a custom Louis Vuitton bustier dress made from black organza with copper cabochon embroidery, continuing her love for sculptural silhouettes from the house.

There is a consistency developing between Chase and Louis Vuitton that I appreciate. She can carry these structured shapes without appearing overwhelmed by them, and the rich copper tone makes this one of her strongest custom looks from the house. Hearts On Fire Jewelry completed her look.

Kooky Works For Lukita

I have a feeling most won’t be on board with Lukita Maxwell’s custom champagne-gold taffeta Louis Vuitton bustier ruffled balloon dress. I’m sure many will say it looks like a prom dress, but the slightly kooky elegance of it all is perfectly suited to her style.

Lukita has never struck me as someone who needs her red carpet fashion to feel conventional, so the exaggerated volume, asymmetrical neckline and abundance of ruffles make sense on her. There is a sweetness to the dress, but her graphic bob stops the overall look from feeling too precious.

The look was styled with Louis Vuitton white satin pumps and Louis Vuitton High Jewelry completed her look.

Winner In Red

Rhea Seehorn was a winner on the night, collecting her Emmy in a custom Louis Vuitton red silk draped gown.

This is exactly the kind of uncomplicated glamour I want from Rhea. The draping does all the work, while the red gives the look enough presence for such a major night. Considering she ended the evening holding an Emmy, the colour feels even more celebratory.

Elegance In Pale Blue

Katherine LaNasa also went the draped and elegant route in a custom Louis Vuitton light-blue chiffon gown.

There’s an ease to this that works beautifully for her.

So Close, Charles

Charles Melton’s double-breasted Louis Vuitton tuxedo would have been even better with perfectly tailored trousers.

From the waist up, I’m completely sold. The jacket looks great on him, but the trousers pooling over his shoes immediately pull my eye down. With a cleaner break, this would have been one of my favourite menswear looks from the Louis Vuitton group.

Brown Gets My Vote

I love how Paul Anthony Kelly’s brown single-breasted Louis Vuitton tuxedo is paired with a butter-yellow poplin shirt. It’s a subtle colour combination, but one that immediately separates him from the sea of black tuxedos.

My only change would be the bow tie. I would have preferred brown velvet over black to continue the colour story. A Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date 42.5MM in pink gold timepiece completed his look.

Classic With A Twist

Shawn Hatosy also kept things classic in Louis Vuitton, but the flared trousers and decision to go without a tie gave his black double-breasted suit a point of difference. Those two changes were enough to give the look some personality.
