Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding Guest Style Was A Fashion Event Of Its Own
When it came to the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on Saturday, the question wasn’t who attended, but who didn’t. Most of Hollywood seemed to be on the guest list, making the celebration feel like a summer Met Gala. Here are some of the standout fashion moments celebrities shared on Instagram.
Black Lace, Reimagined
Starting with Selena Gomez, who shared two distinct looks. For the rehearsal dinner, she wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown inspired by the brand’s Fall 2026 collection.
The botanical guipure lace showcased the house’s intricate craftsmanship, while the custom version omitted the oversized floral appliqués. It was a subtle adjustment that made the gown feel more refined and perfectly suited to the occasion. Finished with a sleek top knot and softly defined makeup, Selena kept the styling elegant and understated.
Champagne Sparkle
After choosing understated black lace for the rehearsal dinner, Selena embraced full celebration mode for the wedding itself. Her champagne-toned Oscar de la Renta design shimmered with intricate crystal and glass embroidery.
Styled with a sleek vintage-inspired bob, diamond drop earrings and soft, luminous makeup, the look struck the perfect balance between glamour and elegance. I genuinely think this might be one of Selena’s best looks to date.
Pretty In Pink
Gigi Hadid’s shimmering pink Wiederhoeft Spring 2025 dress has already been worn by Chloe Kim, Brittany Snow and Annabelle Wallis, making this one of the label’s most popular recent designs. Even so, it ended up being one of my favourite looks from the wedding.
The liquid-like finish and softly draped neckline gave it an Old Hollywood feel, while the vibrant pink made it an ideal choice for a summer celebration. Gigi elevated the look even further with her glossy “soft serve” blowout, while a pink diamond pendant echoed the colour of the dress and tied the entire look together beautifully.
Unexpected
I have to admit I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked Lena Dunham in this custom Christian Cowan design. Her fashion choices are often intentionally chaotic, but this struck a far more refined balance.
The vivid fuchsia satin blouse, dramatic sleeves and oversized powder-blue floral corsage had plenty of personality, while the sleek black skirt anchored the look perfectly.
Black For A Wedding?
Does Jennifer Lopez look good in this Bach Mai Fall 2026 gown? Absolutely. The sculpted black velvet bodice paired with the dramatic lurex faille skirt created a striking couture moment.
But I am curious about the colour. Black wouldn’t be my first, second or even third choice for a summer wedding, although it has become increasingly common in recent years. Some still consider it a wedding faux pas. Where do you stand?
A Quiet Luxury Win
Karlie Kloss has never been one to chase the loudest trend, and this Tove Fall 2026 look reflected her signature approach perfectly.
The fluid satin silhouette, subtle draping and soft gold hue made for an elegant choice. Styled with loose waves, a bold red lip and minimal jewellery, she let the gown speak for itself.
Vintage Miss
Tate McRae is undeniably beautiful, but I found this vintage Valentino Fall/Winter 2002 gold gown surprisingly ageing on her. The embellished bodice worked well enough, but the skirt kept the look firmly rooted in the early 2000s.
Prada Perfection
Jessica Alba looked absolutely stunning in Prada. The actress has favoured a more understated approach in recent times, so I loved seeing her return to full-on glamour.
Chanel Sparkle
As a Chanel ambassador, Gracie Abrams is usually drawn to clean, understated looks, so this shimmering red ombré gown made for a refreshing change of pace. It wasn’t the first outing for the dress, however. Gracie had already worn it for her Vogue editorial after Margaret Qualley debuted the design at the How to Make a Killing Los Angeles screening back in February.
Vintage Victory
Elizabeth Banks reminded us why vintage so often wins. Her Versace gown delivered glamour without feeling dated, proving once again that the right archival look can still feel completely fresh.
Floral Finish
Joey King wore Leo Lin. The floral embroidery gave the sleek black gown a romantic finish, making it one of the prettiest floral looks from the wedding weekend.
