Gigi Hadid In Ronald van der Kemp & Moschino – Out In New York City

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Gigi Hadid In Ronald van der Kemp & Moschino - Out In New York City

Gigi Hadid was out on a chilly 3o-something degree day in New York City attending the Vogue Promo Tour ‘Gigi Hadid For Vogue’ on Tuesday (December 11).

Aside from the paparazzi following her every move, you were unlikely to miss her in this bright orange custom Ronald van der Kemp silk shirt and trousers, teamed with a Moschino Fall 2018 leather coat.

Even though that solo button is hanging for dear life, I love this monochrome look from head-to-toe. The coat and the sleek cut of her lace accented trousers especially.

Gigi is never afraid to show some skin, so this look doesn’t surprise me at all.

Also going monochrome is somewhat of a theme for Gigi. She’s done pink, black, green, yellow and blue.

To complete her fiery look, the model added an additional pop of colour with a pair of ‘So Kate Booty’ statement heels from Christian Louboutin’s Spring 2019 collection.

Gigi Hadid In Zac Posen – 2019 Pirelli Calendar Launch Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Gigi Hadid In Zac Posen - 2019 Pirelli Calendar Launch Gala

Gigi Hadid joined Julia Garner for the 2019 Pirelli Calendar launch gala at HangarBicocca on Wednesday (December 5) in Milan, Italy.

I know many of you aren’t fans of Gigi’s red carpet style, but I’m sure you’ll agree that the only thing she was trying hard to do here, was look glamorous in Zac Posen’s Fall 2018 gown.

Modifying the neckline to showcase her jewels, the model presented a grown-up style of elegance we aren’t often used to seeing from her.

Is this BDOTW worthy?

Marc Jacobs Madison Store Opening

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Marc Jacobs Madison Store Opening

Black and white were the shades of choice at the Marc Jacobs Madison store opening on Monday (December 3) in New York City. The event featured the Redux Grunge collection.

Sofia Coppola: The director and producer looked effortlessly elegant in a polka dot dress with ankle-strap heels. The ensemble feels very authentic and uncontrived.

Kaia Gerber: The model brought some rock-n-roll flavour with her layered look. The different fabrics and easy separates encompass model-off-duty dressing brilliantly.

Gigi Hadid: Also in stripes, the ‘W’ December 2018 cover star brought some ‘Beetlejuice’ inspiration with her black and white jacket and cropped pants. The different scales of the prints and the proportions of the pieces had a quirky-cool finish. The voluminous space buns will likely be discussed as much as the clothes.

2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After-Party

2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After-Party

The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in New York on Thursday (November 8), with a performance from Rita Ora.

Following the show was the after-party; where a host of models served up the expected sheer, mini and slashed dresses, but there were also a few surprises.

Candice Swanepoel: The model was looking not-so angelic in Khyeli Spring 2019 Couture. As sheer dresses go, I love the beaded detailing.

Liu Wen: The model never goes the sheer route, but she did on this occasion wearing a look from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini’s Spring 2019 collection.

Toni Garrn: This golden girl managed to leave something to the imagination in her draped chain metal dress styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Maybelline x New York Fashion Week XIX Party

Maybelline x New York Fashion Week XIX Party

The Maybelline x New York Fashion Week XIX Party took place on Saturday (September 8), and I was surprised by the lack of sheer dresses on display.

Georgia Fowler: Roberto Cavalli is inherit with sex appeal, yet this Fall 2018 feels very exotic from the print to the fabrics.

Gigi Hadid: The model, who is the face of Maybelline, has always had an eye for beauty. Often she is accused of trying too hard with her red carpet looks, but there was an effortless elegance oozing from this Paula Knorr Spring 2018 look. Melinda Maria and EF Collection jewels, plus those popular PVC pumps provided the finishing touches.

Praya Lundberg: Usually we see Praya in gorgeous gowns during Cannes Film Festival, but on this occasion she opted to channelled her inner Kim Kardashian, opting for a black latex dress from Kim’s latex couturier Atsuko Kudo.

The Business Of Fashion Celebrates the #BoF500

The Business Of Fashion Celebrates the #BoF500
A group of lovelies were at The Business of Fashion’s #BoF500 gala dinner during New York Fashion Week on Sunday (September 9).

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Black could never be boring when it looks like this sleekly glamorous power ensemble from The Row Fall 2018 collection. The red lip and diamond earrings really took it to the next level.

Gigi Hadid: This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2019 golden-yellow dress was the epitome of the designer’s Southern-belle collection. But, all eyes would quickly be diverted to her bubbly handbag.

Anok Yai: Even if the molded top of this Mary Katrantzou Fall 2018 ensemble gave the impression of mini quarterback shoulders, there was still a space-age allure to the glitzy look.

Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates ‘ICONS By Carine Roitfeld’

Harper's BAZAAR Celebrates 'ICONS By Carine Roitfeld'

The glam guest list of models, music royalty, and more was almost impossibly long for Harper’s BAZAAR’s celebration of ‘ICONS by Carine Roitfeld’ during New York Fashion Week on Friday (September 7).

Sara Sampaio: The model shone wore a scintillating sequin Maison Alexandrine gown with Christian Louboutin heels and bombshell waves.

Cardi B: Extravagance is generally the singer’s middle name, and especially so in this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2018 extravaganza of ruffles and jewels.
