LaKeith Stanfield Wore Dior To The ‘I Love Booster’ New York Screening

LaKeith Stanfield attended the I Love Boosters New York screening held at Williamsburg Cinemas.

I know some of you are already shaking your heads at those oversized shearling cuffs, but that is exactly why the look works. They are not trying to blend in. They are the entire point.

One thing that has become clear during Jonathan Anderson’s first months at Dior is that these clothes need personality. They need confidence. They need someone willing to commit to the idea rather than simply wear it. LaKeith has always had that quality, so this felt like a natural fit.

The beige wool coat from the Dior Fall 2026 menswear collection was always destined to be the focal point. The exaggerated shearling cuffs give it a slightly eccentric edge, so LaKeith kept everything else straightforward. A white T-shirt, pale-wash denim, a Dior Medallion belt, tinted sunglasses and his signature Dior cap allowed the coat to remain front and centre.

That restraint is what makes the look successful. Had he piled on more layers, accessories or competing textures, it could have tipped into overload. Instead, the styling gave the coat room to breathe.

You may remember that Anya Taylor-Joy wore this same coat to the Dior Haute Couture show in January, staying much closer to the runway styling with the richly patterned scarf draped over her shoulders. As striking as that version was, LaKeith’s interpretation puts the spotlight exactly where it belongs: on those wonderfully outrageous sleeves.

This is the kind of look that reminds you why ambassadors matter. When the right personality meets the right piece, the clothes suddenly make complete sense.
