Celebrities in Louis Vuitton for the 2026 Oscars
Louis Vuitton had the busiest night at the 2026 Oscars, dressing ten celebrities for the red carpet.

Minimalism, the Vuitton Way
Renate Reinsve delivered a striking, and surprisingly restrained, Louis Vuitton moment in a strapless red column dress styled with matching red sandals. Louis Vuitton is not a house we usually associate with this level of minimalism, which is precisely why the look stood out.
Perhaps it’s my recent Love Story marathon talking, but the clean lines and saturated red tone gave me distinct Calvin Klein–era simplicity. No fuss, no theatrics—just a sharp silhouette and confident styling. Louis Vuitton High Jewelry completed the look.

Lavender Layers
I would have liked Chase Infiniti’s Louis Vuitton lavender silk gown much more if the cascading waterfall frills had not appeared to weigh the design down. The soft colour was beautiful on her, but the skirt looked as though it struggled under the volume of those tiered ruffles.
At first glance, I assumed the pulls in the fabric were intentional texture. Then I noticed similar tension along the leg, which made the finish feel less deliberate. There is a lovely dress somewhere within this design, but the execution felt a little heavy.

The Gold Standard
Any red carpet maternity style award should simply be called The Wunmi Mosaku Award, because the British actress continues to set the benchmark.
Her Louis Vuitton embroidered asymmetric gown hugged the bump beautifully while maintaining the drama expected of an Oscars appearance. The emerald-toned embroidery shimmered under the lights, while the one-shoulder neckline and sculpted silhouette balanced elegance with presence.
Maternity dressing on the red carpet can sometimes lean cautious. Wunmi, once again, reminds everyone that it does not have to. David Yurman jewels completed her look.

Precision Dressing
I know some of you have been asking for more from Emma Stone this season, but this is another Louis Vuitton win for me.
She has been remarkably consistent with these streamlined gowns, and this white embroidered empire-cut dress continues that streak. The silhouette works because it knows exactly what it is doing: a soft empire waist elongates the body, while the subtle embroidery prevents the design from feeling flat.
Minimalism only succeeds when the proportions are correct. Here, they absolutely are.

Statement Sleeves
If you are anything like me, Ava DuVernay’s navy silk crepe gown immediately recalled Alicia Vikander’s dramatic Venice Film Festival moment.
The off-the-shoulder sleeves create bold architectural volume across the shoulders, while the rest of the gown remains sleek and structured. It is a confident silhouette that balances drama with elegance.
Ava styled the look with a Louis Vuitton Petite Malle clutch and Pomellato jewels.

A Subtle Switch
Classic tailoring has been the backbone of Michael B. Jordan’s awards-season wardrobe, but he introduced a small twist tonight.
His Louis Vuitton suit featured an officer-collar jacket with silk-satin detailing and black-and-gold logotised cage buttons, creating a slightly more structured, uniform-inspired profile. The look was further sharpened by a David Yurman pocket-chain detail, while the rest of his look reinforced the balance between classic tailoring and attitude.

The Brooch Moment
Joel Edgerton opted for a Louis Vuitton shawl-collar tuxedo, styled with not one but two brooches from the house’s High Jewelry collection.
The Les Honneurs brooch set with sapphires and diamonds sat alongside the Idylle Blossom diamond brooch, giving the traditional tuxedo a touch of personality. Brooch styling for men has been gaining momentum on the red carpet, and Joel leaned into the trend with confidence.

Concept vs Execution
Alana Haim arrived solo on this red carpet without her sisters, wearing a black-and-white embroidered Louis Vuitton crossover dress.
I like the concept: the deep V-neckline, graphic embroidery, and crossover structure all point toward an interesting design. Unfortunately, the execution felt less convincing. The dress hangs somewhat loosely through the body, which flattens the impact of what should have been a sharper silhouette.
Louis Vuitton High Jewelry completed the look, though the gown itself struggled to carry the moment.

Classic Mode
Ryan Coogler kept things straightforward in a Louis Vuitton shawl-collar single-breasted tuxedo. Clean lines, classic proportions, and understated styling ensured the look felt polished and timeless.

two-Piece Precision
Gabriel Leone closed out the Louis Vuitton lineup in a navy single-breasted tuxedo.
