Hannah Einbinder’s Eclectic Meryll Rogge Look at Televerse Festival

On Saturday, Hannah Einbinder attended the Hacks FYC Presentation during the Television Academy’s 2026 Televerse Festival in Los Angeles.

The actress, who is now working with celebrity stylist Karla Welch, wore a Meryll Rogge Spring 2026 dress.

I usually like dresses like this, where an eclectic mix of lace, sequins, ribbons, tulle, sheer panels and contrasting colours comes together in an unexpected way. But as much as I appreciate the dress itself, this style of design doesn’t feel suited to Hannah.

And this is becoming something of a running theme. I was hopeful that Hannah had turned a corner, but this look has me right back to thinking that she’s yet to find a style direction that really suits her.

I still stand by my feeling that her Gucci tailoring and Louis Vuitton moments remain some of her best. Those looks had a confidence and ease that I’m not getting from this Meryll Rogge dress, so I’m still hopeful we can get back to something that captures what worked so well during those eras.

At this point, we might have to wait until awards season.

Is there a celebrity you could see making this Meryll Rogge dress work, or is this simply one of those runway looks that doesn’t translate as well off the runway?

My first thought is Emma Corrin. The clashing lace, sheer layers, sequins and slightly awkward proportions fit the kind of unconventional fashion they tend to carry well. I could also see Hunter Schafer making sense of it, particularly with stronger footwear and more directional beauty styling.

Chloë Sevigny is another possibility. On her, the oddness of the mix would feel completely believable.

Stylist: Karla Welch.
