Emma Stone In Fendi – BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emma Stone In Fendi - BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

Prior to the 2019 Golden Globe Awards, Emma Stone attended The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5).

It’s safe to say that the majority didn’t like her Golden Globes Louis Vuitton gown with the comments ranging from too safe, boring and matronly, plus a lot of people felt the colour washed her out and was repetitive from Venice Film Festival premiere for ‘The Favorite’.

On this occasion she wore a Fendi dress from the Spring 2019 collection.

I love how the vivid parrot print contributes to the lively spirit of this frock.

I’m slightly confident you will find this style as uplifting as I did, although, some might be put off by the orange eye makeup.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton - 2019 Golden Globe Awards

The Louis Vuitton x Emma Stone union has left some wishing for a lot more. And, I have a feeling that her latest look at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) in Beverly Hills, California might land in that same meh category.

The custom LV gown was striking in its all-over embellishment. But, I would identify the blush-peach colour as the element that fell a bit flat — especially with her teasing us with the vibrant brocade design at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala a few days ago.

Naturally, she was accessorised with head-to-toe LV, with clutch, heels, and jewels all from the label — although the dark bag was a bit of an odd pairing.

2019 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon Features 2019 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2019 AFI Awards was a packed house with several more ladies taking to the red carpet this afternoon (January 4), to receive their accolades.

Elsie Fisher: This young lady never fails to put a smile on my face. Yet to don a dress on the red carpet this calendar year, I’m wondering if that will change for the Globes on Sunday. Her signature trousered style was looking very bright in this M Missoni Resort 2019 outfit, which was of course styled with her other signature: a Kate Spade New York bag.

Emma Stone: While I was tempted to say, “thank you, next”, to this Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 look, when I paused to take a moment, this look isn’t actually so bad. What lets it down are the black slingbacks. I wish she’s opted for the ‘Overnight Cross’ sandals, but thankful she didn’t go for the LV Archlight boots.

Keri Russell: Dressed in Dior, I found myself a little underwhelmed by this offering. Usually I’m mesmerized by Keri on the red carpet, but I’m not getting any goosebumps today.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton - 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala

Emma Stone kick started 2019 at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala on Thursday (January 3) in California, in the same way she ended 2018…in Louis Vuitton.

I often feel that you aren’t feeling very inspired by ‘The Favorite’ actress in LV, but on this occasion I’m mildly confident that you’ll love this custom brocade bustier and trouser combo inspired by the Spring 2019 collection.

It’s a more interesting take on the runway look. She stands out among all the dresses at this event, plus it’s beautifully styled with Louis Vuitton High Jewelry and cap-toe pumps.

I personally love the fresh, modern feel of this look. It actually has me excited for her Golden Globes look on Sunday.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2018 British Independent Film Awards

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton - 2018 British Independent Film Awards

Emma Stone attended the 2018 British Independent Film Awards in London on Sunday (December 2).

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2019 structured mini dress, styled with Louis Vuitton accessories including the Petite-Malle.

I think the dress is simple, sweet and chic, but I did remind me a helluva lot of the red Dior dress both Selena Gomez and Lucy Hale wore back in 2014.

I don’t want dislike this union, but I really want so much more. I should be trying to locate my socks right about now, but I’m like, “yeah, nice.”

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Governors Awards

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton - 2018 Governors Awards

Emma Stone was of course in Louis Vuitton while attending the 2018 Governors Awards held in Hollywood, California on Sunday (November 18).

Her custom gown, inspired by the Spring 2019 collection, was adorned with an ornate embellishments with show-stopping effect.

While this doesn’t totally knock me off my feet like her previous Louis Vuitton outing, I do like this effortlessly feminine silhouette.

The only thing that prevents me from loving the overall look is the hair, as it feels too casual.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation

SAG-AFTRA Foundation

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation events on Thursday (November 8) Friday (November 9) in New York City brought out a myriad of chic looks.

Rachel Weisz: The new mum looked effortless in Altuzarra Resort 2019 at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: ‘The Favourite’ event with the strappy sandals echoing the dress’s textured fabric.

Felicity Jones: The British beauty went retro in Sies Marjan Spring 2019 for the ‘On The Basis Of Sex’ conversation event. This is her second look from this collection and I’m curious how this one will be received because the pink number is very different from her previous power suit.
