Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – LVMH Prize 2018 Edition

Emma Stone attended the LVMH Prize 2018 Edition today (June 6) in Paris, France.

The power suit trend continues into the Resort 2019 season it would seem, as Emma rock this hot off-the-runway look from Louis Vuitton.

I feel like Emma was taking a cue from Melanie Griffith’s character in “Working Girl,” as her black and white bold shoulder suit is feminine in style, fun with the leather braces and achingly chic from head-to-toe.

I know many of you have vowed not to support the Stone x LV union, but for me, this is her best look to date in a Nicolas Ghesquiere look.

Could the tide be turning?

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019

A handful of lovely ladies were in attendance at the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019 show at Fondation Maeght on Monday (May 28) in Saint-Paul-De-Vence, France.

Emma Stone: The actress stepped out in glittering trousers which played off of the contrasting collar in the white blazer. It was a different outfit compared to what everyone else wore. I fear that some might get hung up on the vintage references, namely, the oversized peaked collar and chunky gold belt.

Laura Harrier: The ‘BlacKkKlansman’ star showed off her pins in a mini which fused opposing patterns and was tied up with a corset waist. I was charmed by the more minimalist looks from the designer she wore to Cannes, and find myself missing some of that simplicity here.

Ruth Negga: Brightening things up, she stayed true to her retro-tinged, feminine style while celebrating the designer’s aesthetic in this sweet look. The way the pleats echo the three-dimensional detailing of the top is most attractive.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Met Gala

Emma Stone attended the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City, and naturally, she was wearing a Louis Vuitton navy gown for the occasion.

What I loved most about her LV look was the way that its golden embellishment danced with the copper tones of her gorgeous locks and eye makeup.

That’s what sold the entire ensemble to me.

Get The Look: Emma Stone’s Powerfully Feminine 80s Inspired Beauty

Emma Stone’s Oscars beauty look was all about recreating the magic of early 1980’s high power glamour while remaining modern in style and execution.

Celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin also wanted to incorporate the statement making tones of Emma’s elegant suit and created a look with beautiful pink shades and metallic accents. Using NARS cosmetics versatile and luxurious collection, here’s how Rachel achieved this look:

FACE: After cleansing the skin, Rachel moisturized and primed the skin to ensure a smooth canvas for foundation. To achieve that flawless, fresh base, NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation was expertly blended onto Emma’s skin.

EYES: Once the skin was set, Rachel moved onto the eyes. To create that stunning burgundy diffused eye look, she used an array of shades from the NARSissist Wanted Eyeshadow Palette. The overall look was about creating a gradient effect from burgundy to soft pink, all featuring a metallic finish. Starting by concentrating the deeper shade along the upper lash the line, the luxurious shade was softly diffused to the crease. To create that soft blended even look, the pink shades were buffed into the crease. The result was a seamless eye look that was finished off with navy liner and a few coats of mascara on Emma’s lashes.

CHEEKS: Cheeks were a focal point for this look. While the glamorous women of the 1980s catered to a stronger and more defined pink blush look, Rachel borrowed elements of this classic style when creating the cheek shades for Emma’s Oscars makeup. To modernize that strong cheek, Rachel used the new NARSissist Wanted Cheek Palette and applied the soft pink shades onto the apples of Emma’s cheeks and buffed the product outwards.

LIPS: To tie in this youthful and statement-making look, Rachel chose a lip that was full of color and complemented the shades in this makeup. Using NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Let’s Go Crazy, Rachel layered the product onto Emma’s lips and finished off the lip with a transparent gloss.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Fall 2018

Nicolas Ghesquière debuted his latest offering for the Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 6), with a number of the designer devotees in attendance.

Sienna Miller: After attending the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party this past Sunday, Sienna was back on the fashion front row here. Her casual look was full of ’70s, boho charm with the ruffled top and high-waist, cropped denim—topped off with a ladylike finish in her stacked pumps and black-and-white handbag—although I can see some questioning the stark contrast of hues against her outfit.

Jennifer Connelly: I know there was an intentional long and languid aesthetic to these separates, but between the sleeves and the hem, both seemed just a bit too droopy.

Emma Stone: As the latest brand ambassador—also fresh from the Oscars—Emma represented the LV label more successfully here in this paisley frock. I like the unexpected twist to the girlish offering with the peplum jacket, and the additional edginess delivered via the over-the-knee boots.

Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

It’s fair to say we were bitterly disappointed by Emma Stone’s Louis Vuitton suit the 2018 Oscars on Sunday night.

The actress had a chance to redeem herself at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but failed to take the opportunity.

I found myself completely dumbfounded by this second Louis Vuitton offering.

Firstly, it feels too twee for someone of her stature. I would’ve brought this on Elle Fanning.

Secondly, it feels casual for the event, even if it was a party frock.

And finally, I’m not a fan of the design.

As a returning Best Actress winner I had high hopes, however, I guess she wanted to take a back seat.

This is heart-breaking, quite frankly.
