Kristen Bell In Arias – 2018 Summer TCA Tour: Television Critics Association Awards

Kristen Bell In Arias - 2018 Summer TCA Tour: Television Critics Association Awards

After a summer of exploration, Kristen Bell took her foot off the gas for the 34th Annual Television Critics Association Awards during the 2018 Summer TCA Tour on Saturday (August 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Arias produces unfussy, feminine pieces which is demonstrated in Kristen’s satin sleeveless dress.

My feeling is that this dress is missing something.

This appears to be confirm by Kristen adding the Etro multi-coloured bag and green Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals, but I don’t think throwing colour at this was the solution.

Perhaps the tie we see in the look book would’ve prevented the look from feeling a tad lifeless.

Kristen Bell In August Getty Atelier – Netflix’s ‘Like Father’ LA Premiere

Kristen Bell was back on the red carpet for the premiere of Netflix’s ‘Like Father’ on Tuesday (July 31) in Hollywood, California.

I’m sure it hasn’t escaped your notice what Kristen appears to have shelved those uber girlie princess-style frocks for something with a little more bite, and a lot more edge.

Case-in-point, her August Getty Atelier Fall 2015 strapless, cut-out leather dress is a break from the norm, but does this look work for you?

My feeling is it should’ve been a couple of inches shorter and the white Tyler Ellis clutch feels out of place, but I have no problem with Kristen current exploration on the red carpet.

Kristen Bell In Anine Bing & Osman – Comic-Con 2018: ‘The Good Place’ Press Line & ‘Teen Titans Go! To The Movies’ LA Premiere

Kristen Bell had a busy weekend promoting ‘The Good Place’ at Comic-Con, before the LA premiere of ‘Teen Titans Go! To The Movies’.

Comic-Con 2018: ‘The Good Place’ Press Line: Despite the blazing red hue, this Anine Bing suit was light-weight, relaxed and refined. While I do wish her Naeem Khan blouse was white, this look does work well for the event, plus I love the addition of her Giuseppe Zanotti red leather and plexi ‘New Darsey’ sandals.

‘Teen Titans Go! To The Movies’ LA Premiere: Kristen’s second suiting option from Osman’s Fall 2017 collection was tailored to perfection. The actress usually serves up uber girlie looks, so her dabble with menswear this weekend was inspired. The only thing that didn’t work for me here was the fuchsia Tyler Ellis clutch. It felt very out of place, and I’m not referring to the colour.

Kristen Bell In Julien Macdonald – 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards

Mandy Moore wasn’t the only one doing something new at the 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) in Santa Monica, California, Kristen Bell was too.

Julien Macdonald is a designer loved by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Alessandra Ambrosio – ladies who aren’t afraid to show a bit of skin – so this was a surprising choice for Kristen.

Unfortunately, she didn’t sell this knitted dress to me and I didn’t find this it particularly flattering on her either.

She can do so much better.

Kristen Bell In Emilia Wickstead – Nickelodeon’s 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards

Kristen Bell was also at the Nickelodeon 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 24) in Inglewood, California.

You may not have not initially pegged the sophisticatedly reserved pieces of London designer Emilia Wickstead—sometimes donned by the Duchess of Cambridge—to land at Nickelodeon.

But, I found these Pre-Fall 2018 separates to be such a delight on Kristen, as they introduced a smart, vintage-inspired flair that was conservative yet cheeky at the same time.

Choosing the shorter red skirt was the right decision to sass up the look, with Jimmy Choo heels, Faris jewels, and perhaps my favourite element—the Meli Melo ‘Let’s Go Get Lost’ box handbag—to accessorise.

Kristen Bell In Paper London – ‘Pandas’ LA Premiere

Kristen Bell attended the documentary premiere of ‘Pandas’ on Saturday (March 17) in Los Angeles, California, which she narrates.

I’m sure her decision to go for this black and white Paper London dress isn’t lost on you, but the homage to the cuddly bears didn’t end there, as even her eyeliner was also black and white.

I like how the white pumps brings a lightness and balance to the structured silhouette. Black would’ve been too heavy and weight down the look.

Even if you don’t like this outfit, I’m sure you’ll appreciate that this was a fun celebration of Pandas who are beloved around the world, plus it provided a refreshing change from the standard LBD.
