Diane Kruger Wore Iris van Herpen Haute Couture To Le Grand Dîner Du Louvre
Diane Kruger attended Le Grand Dîner du Louvre, an even that I feel is Paris’ equivalent of the Academy Museum Gala, celebrating art, culture, and fashion inside one of the world’s most iconic institutions.

We hold the German actress’ style in very high regard, higher than most, so when she does not deliver, we notice.
On this occasion, however, she completely took my breath away wearing this Iris van Herpen Fall 2025 Haute Couture sculptural design. Considering what this event celebrates, it felt like an exceptionally considered choice. The swirling, architectural forms wrap around the body like a living work of art. It is the kind of look a wearer could easily disappear inside, yet Diane commands every inch of it.
Some might wish the look had been rendered in a contrasting colour, as the gold tone sits close to her hair, but there is also something pleasing about the harmony. It allows the extraordinary construction to remain the focus rather than competing with it.
Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Flame ear clips, a Bird on a Rock by Tiffany Wings bangle, and a Bird on a Rock by Tiffany Wings ring completed her look. But the biggest win in terms of styling was her decision to swap the white ankle boots for PVC mules that blended with her skin tone. The understated accessories ensured the swirling masterpiece remained the undisputed focal point.
