For her guest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday, Teyana Taylor delivered a masterclass in directional minimalism.

Stepping out in a razor sharp, dramatic cocoon leather jacket and trousers from Phoebe Philo, the foundation of the look sculptural and uncompromising.

The styling is where the look shifts from minimalist to magnetic. Schiaparelli’s gilded surrealist jewellery, including statement drop earrings and stacked bracelets, injects opulence and wit.
