Front Row at Prada Fall 2026
The Prada Fall 2026 Womenswear fashion show was held on Thursday inside the Deposito at Fondazione Prada during Milan Fashion Week.

Sharp Collar Saves The Day
What are the rules anymore? Isn’t Anna Sawai a Dior ambassador? She was officially named a Dior ambassador in February 2025 and was last seen in their front row in October, so seeing her here does make you wonder. Was it a one-year contract? Or are the rules of ambassadorship looser than we realise? Either way, this Prada look is saved by that sharp, exaggerated collar. Without it, the silhouette risks veering into school uniform territory.

Gloves Gone Wrong
I am not completely anti opera gloves. They absolutely have their place when the mood and proportions align. But the slouchy leather gloves on Benedetta Porcaroli are hard to defend. They overwhelm the look and feel clumsy. I struggled to look past them long enough to take in the rest of the outfit.

Retro Done Right
Thank goodness Maude Apatow was here to restore balance. As always the mood is delightfully retro, running through the polka dot Prada dress and neck scarf. Utterly charming from head-to-toe.

Quiet Layers, Strong Foundation
I was not sold on Carey Mulligan’s hairstyle at the BAFTAs, but this softer approach flatters her beautifully. The Prada look itself has an ease I appreciate, though I do wish she had removed the coat for the photocall so we could fully see the proportions underneath.

Effortlessly Pulled Together
Letitia Wright was beautifully coordinated in Prada. Since she opted out of the white Prada pumps so many others wore, I am glad the carpet was black.

Accessory Misstep
With Sarah Pidgeon, the issue lies in the accessories. The colour feels disconnected from the lightness of the outfit. The shoes are passable, but the bag needed rethinking. A different tone would have elevated this entire Prada look.

Colour Lift
This is why I appreciate Zoey Deutch’s approach. Her choice of colourful accessories gives her Prada look a lift and injects personality. It is a reminder that sometimes the smallest styling decision makes the biggest impact.
