Front Row at Gucci Fall 2026
Demna presented his first runway show for Gucci, and it was unmistakably Gucci, with a strong 90s Tom Ford influence running throughout, from low rise silhouettes to sensual body con fits. I would have liked to have seen a stronger mix of house codes reimagined in a sharper contemporary context. But I have no doubt we will see this collection on the red carpet soon.
As for the front row, the lighting was noticeably better there than on the step and repeat.
Biker Energy
There was definite biker energy in the air yesterday. First Teyana Taylor, and now most Demi Moore in head-to-toe leather. The zipped up silhouette and second skin fit leaned fully into that mood. But it was the hair that truly sold the story. The actress, who is well known for her signature long style, switched things up on this rare occasion.
I am glad she did, however temporary, because it helped sell the mood of the look. The shorter cut gave the leather a sharper attitude.
A Rare White Pivot
Laura Harrier, who usually gravitates towards a little black dress, made a rare pivot to all white. The Gucci tailored look actually felt really crisp with the sharp black accessories adding a subtle edge to the clean lines.
Leather With House Codes
Gucci ambassador Alia Bhatt opted for a structured leather coat that delivered a clean, confident silhouette. While the horsebit heels anchored the look in house heritage. It felt like a straightforward nod to Gucci signatures, executed with simplicity.
Strong Look
Philippine Leroy Beaulieu stepped out in a refined Gucci black ensemble that felt perfectly aligned with her aesthetic right down to the oversized sunglasses and leather glove.
Understated With A Pop
I cannot remember the last time we saw Shawn Mendes, but he kept things simple in an all black look. The Gucci bag and rich brown loafers preventing the outfit from fading into the background.
Soft White
Romeo Beckham, who walked the Burberry show earlier this week, opted for an all white Gucci look. The relaxed proportions and minimal styling gave it an easy feel. It was clean, cohesive and perfectly in line with his laidback Gen Z style.
