Teyana Taylor Wore Burberry To The 2026 BAFTAs

Teyana Taylor attended the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards held at The Royal Festival Hall in London this evening, where she is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for One Battle After Another.

She has been the most consistent on the red carpet this awards season, but I’m struggling with this Burberry gown.

I love the colour. I adore the dramatic silhouette and the nod to, and reinterpretation of, Burberry’s classic trench coat. What I can’t get on board with is the execution. The fabric reads messy and overly bunched, which undermines what should have been a commanding moment.

In another atelier, this concept might have felt sharper. Give this same design to Nicolas Ghesquière, and we would have seen a cleaner, more architectural interpretation.
