Jada Pinkett Smith Wore Valentino On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
Jada Pinkett Smith was spotted arriving at a studio in New York City on Monday (October 16), for her guest appearance on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,’ where she was promoting her new book. ‘Worthy.’
The actress wore a Valentino cape-effect cropped silk top and straight leg trousers from the Spring 2023 collection.
Looking at this outfit on the runway, you wouldn’t have much faith in someone as petite as Jada pulling it off.
Not only is there a lot of fabric here, but the trousers were worn low slung on the runway.
So credit must go to both her stylist and tailor for ensuring that the trousers – converted into high-waist trousers – weren’t dragging on the floor, and that she wasn’t overwhelmed by the cape.
I’m sure many won’t be on board with the jewelry, but she’s always loved eclectic pieces, so this was expected for me.
All in all, I don’t have a bad word to say about this look, as this was a team effort which nailed the modifications.
If you’re having a case of deja vu Charli XCX wore this back in January for the Valentino Fall 2023 Haute Couture fashion show, and didn’t look as good as Jada.
