Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a round from the Esquire Men of The Year Awards plus the ‘Babylon’ and ‘Emily In Paris’ premieres.

Starting with Ismael Cruz Córdova who joined Sam Heughan at the 2022 Esquire Man of the Year Awards.

‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ actor, who picked up the Latin Icon Award at the event, wore a Willie Norris for Outlier look which came in two parts.

The first was a Willie Norris for Outlier satin tuxedo featuring a wrap skirt styled with sock suspenders and Dr Martens.

This is a look few could pull off.  You already have to possess an innate sense of style, which Ismael has in spades.

Part two, which I have a feeling most will prefer, was a Willie Norris for Outlier Spring 2023 duster coat featuring a hand-painted skeleton.

Lucien Laviscount is another actor who isn’t afraid to push the fashion boundaries.  His H&M look from The Fashion Awards showcased that.

For the ‘Emily In Paris’ French Consulate event he wasn’t so much ahead of the curve, more like way behind it wearing this Valentino look from the Fall 2022 Pink PP collection.

This is a great look for him.  He has the swagger to pull it off, but this feels so late.  In two weeks, this collection will be so 2022.

Brad Pitt’s summer of fun promoting ‘Bullet Train’ wearing skirts and looking like Silicon Valley CEO gave way to a clean-shaven, dapper look wearing a Tom Ford organza reverse twill Cooper suit with classic barrel cuff shirt and Tom Ford Gianni cap toe boots.

While I kinda miss his summer style, this look was more fitted for the occasion.

David Yurman jewels completed his look.

William Abadie x Brunello Cucinelli x Chopard continue to work in perfect harmony.

Some might find this to be a summery suit due to the light colours and the lighter fabrics, but it’s giving all seasons for me.

Danny Ramirez wore a Dolce & Gabbana black Martini-fit jacquard tuxedo which I love for the peak lapel and details in silk satin.

The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ star styled is look with loafers and no socks.

Lucas Bravo was the most muted of the ‘Emily In Paris’ crew, by opting for a black velvet double-breasted suit.

Diego Calva was my favourite menswear look from the ‘Babylon’ premiere.

The actor looked like the lead character in an Italian mafia movie dressed in a navy pinstriped Gucci suit styled with an OMEGA timepiece and a pink carnation.
