Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli Haute Couture – Wes Anderson’s Exhibition Opening

Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli Haute Couture - Wes Anderson’s Exhibition Opening

Tilda Swinton attended the the opening of Wes Anderson’s “Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and other Treasures” exhibition co-curated with Juma Malouf at the Kunst Historisches Museum in Vienna on Monday (November 5).

I was excited to see the actress in Schiaparelli Haute Couture once again, it’s a fashion union that is proving to be even more fruitful than her and Haider Ackermann.

Yes, I was immediately attracted to the mix of colour and single leopard-printed sleeve of this bias-cut dress, but factor in the drapery, embellished turquoise brooches and the randomness of the gloves and I’m totally and utterly in love with this look from head-to-toe.

I can’t believe some people think her style is overrated. This is the perfect mix of lady-like style with fashion-forward appeal.

J’adore.

Tilda Swinton In Chanel Haute Couture – Chanel Cruise 2019 Replica Show

Tilda Swinton In Chanel Haute Couture - Chanel Cruise 2019 Replica Show After-Party

Following the first Chanel Cruise 2019 replica show in Bangkok, Thailand on Wednesday (October 31), Tiida Swinton attended the second show later that evening.

My reaction to seeing the British actress in this Chanel Fall 2018 Haute Couture look went something like this, as three unfavourable looks in a row would’ve been too much to bear.

Tilda looked positively regal in her gown which almost had an armor-like bodice with the black and grey transparent beads.

The bolero would’ve overcooked the look, so I’m grateful for Tilda’s typically simple and styling.

This is Tilda and Chanel at their very best. Do you agree?

Chanel Cruise 2019 Replica Bangkok Show

Chanel Cruise 2019 Replica Bangkok Show

Chanel hosted a replica show of their Cruise 2019 collection, held at Sermsuk Warehouse Pepsi Pier on Wednesday (October 31) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tilda Swinton: I’m worried, as this is the second Tilda Swinton look in a row I’m struggling to get on board with. On this occasion her Muumuu cotton Chanel dress felt so wrong for her. Between the shape (or shapelessness) and the frills, it doesn’t fit her style at all. I’m totally flabbergasted by this look.

Lily Rose Depp: With the young actress I’m always wondering what her style is. She was born into Chanel, and I truly wonder if she has a fashion identity outside of the French fashion house. The two-piece look showcased a fun side to her style which we don’t often see, so I guess that was refeshing.

Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli Haute Couture – ‘Suspiria’ LA Premiere

Tilda Swinton In Schiaparelli Haute Couture - ‘Suspiria’ LA Premiere

Tilda Swinton joined Mia Goth, Dakota Johnson, and Chloe Grace Moretz on the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘Suspiria’ on Wednesday (October 24).

The actress wore a Schiaparelli Fall 2018 Haute Couture black fitted jacket with bejewelled ‘hand’ buttons styled with hot pink silk taffeta trousers.

As you know I worship everything that is Tilda Swinton, but even I had a bit of a hard time with these trousers.

Had she worn the runway look, I would’ve loved this.

Part of my love for Tilda is that she likes to take risks, but on this occasion my issue with the trousers isn’t the colour, more the shape, as they instantly reminded of the trousers Janelle Monae wore in her ‘Pynk’ video.

‘Suspiria’ London Premiere

'Suspiria' London Premiere

Mia Goth, Tilda Swinton and Dakota Johnson graced the red carpet this evening (October 16) for the London Film Festival premiere of ‘Suspiria’.

Am I the only one covered in goosebumps?

This is such a powerful picture of female unity and strength, that it renders me breathless.

Mia Goth: The actress tends to favour black, so I’m glad she opted for this silver lame Givenchy Spring 2018 Haute Couture gown. With a simple bodice being the starting point, the design falls dramatically into, tiered ruffles which shimmering under the lights which I adore.

Tilda Swinton: Carrying on the oversized suit trend we saw from Lady Gaga last night, this black double breasted suit sits firmly in Tilda’s wheelhouse. I’m glad she didn’t follow the sparkling dress code here. I love the balance this Maison Margiela Artisanal designed by John Galliano suit creates in a sea of silver. Delfina Delettrez jewels completed her look.

Dakota Johnson: With her silver dress memo received and reciprocated, the actress made me go weak at the knees in this Gucci sequin gown. I’m sure even those of you are not huge fans of sequin drenched gowns, will share the love for this magnificent trompe l’oeil piece.

Tilda Swinton In Vetements – 2018 Sitges Film Festival

Tilda Swinton In Vetements - 2018 Sitges Film Festival

Tilda Swinton attended the opening day of the 2018 Sitges Film Festival on Thursday (October 4) in Spain, where she picked up the Grand Honorary Award.

Following her ‘Suspiria’ Venice Film Festival premiere, the ‘At Eternity’s Gate’ Venice Film Festival premiere and AnOther Magazine x Prada Suspiria screening, it’s apparent that Ms Swinton has a thing for red, red carpet looks at the moment.

The trend continued when the actress wore a Vetements Spring 2019 winged pleated dress styled with red velvet Vetements pumps.

I love the feminine details like the fluttered neckline and the directionally draped skirt which is attached to the sleeves.

This particular look has a lot of significance, as Tilda was channeling her character Madame Blanc from ‘Suspiria’.

Opting for a theme during this promo tour can sometimes appear contrived, but in Tilda’s chase, the bold hue has felt fresh and powerful.
