Vanity Fair and Lancôme Celebrate The Future of Hollywood

Kate Beckinsale Vanity Fair and Lancôme Celebrate The Future of Hollywood

Vanity Fair and Lancôme hosted a party to celebrate the future of Hollywood held at Mother Wolf on Thursday (March 24) in Los Angeles, California.

I had to start with Kate Beckinsale who was wearing the most Kate Beckinsale look from Georges Chakra’s Spring 2022 collection she could find.

However, as beautiful as this taupe sleeveless jumpsuit is, and as far back as she placed her ponytail, the asymmetrical sculptural bodice featuring gold leaf detailing eats her alive.

I’m not sure what more she could have done.

Ashley Madekwe’s elegant, no fuss style was presented via this Carolina Herrera Fall 2022 floral jacquard dress.

I am feeling that the sweetheart neckline sits a little high on this column dress, so I’m thankful she didn’t add a necklace to make this feel too busy.

I’ve said this for Jenna Coleman’s last two outings, so excuse the repetitiveness, but why is she content with dressing like a middle-aged woman from a bygone era?

In this case a middle-aged woman wearing a nightgown.

I think the main problem is that this Erdem Fall 2022 dress is too big for her.

Brittany O’Grady was one of the best dressed at this event wearing a Carolina Herrera Spring 2022 black halter dress with ivory ruffle sleeves.

I love both the contrast and her poise.

Nathalie Emmanuel wore a fresh spring time look from Miu Miu.  I especially love the boucle pink trousers here.

Some might feel she was a little underdressed, but this very much suits her style.

Amanda Seyfried opted for a LBD from Elie Saab’s Pre-Fall 2022 collection.  Had it not been for the sheer beaded neckline this might have gone under the radar for me.

A sharp, bold hued power suit? Taylor Hill was of course wearing Alex Perry.  I’m addicted to the cut more than the colour.

Sara Sampaio was also a woman in red as she rocked this embellished Emporio Armani Fall 2019 mini on the red carpet.

I really wanted to see this David Koma Spring 2022 dress on Dua Lipa.

Jenna Dewan looks good in this though.

Folake Olowofoyeku kept things in the beige family wearing a beautiful loose fit Nili Lotan suit styled with a Lack of Color hat and Adidas shoes.

We don’t often see Demi Singleton lean into an ultra girly aesthetic.

Between the ruffles and the florals you might think that this was Giambattista Valli, but this mini dress hails from the Zimmermann Spring 2022 collection.

Ella Hunt had such a great style via Instagram during the pandemic, but since her return to the red carpet, I haven’t been really feeling many of her looks.

This is Alessandra Rich, but it feels like it’s trying to be Saint Laurent.  Either way I’m not a fan of the gold, lycra biker shorts.

Kathryn Newton wore a Versace mini dress, which features a retro take on the brands Baroccofest print.

So it wasn’t too saccharine, Versace accented the dress with a gold chain to give the mini an edge.

What dulled that edge was the styling.  The Versace Medusa Aevitas platforms were on brand, but the shimmering tights and Judith Leiber French Poodle clutch were not.

Amy Forsyth was one favourites in this figure hugging pink off-the-shoulder dress, even though I’m not 100% sold on these sandals.
