PORTER’s Incredible Women Gala 2018

PORTER's Incredible Women Gala 2018

There were a host of stars who joined Gabrielle Union and Alice Eve to celebrate PORTER’s 3rd annual Incredible Women Gala on Tuesday (October 9) in Los Angeles, California.

Charlize Theron: I really wanted to get excited about this Giambattista Valli Fall 2018 dress, but the top half is throwing me off.  I do love the girlie essence the tiered skirt brings to the look, but that’s about it.

Alison Brie: I know the Brock Collection isn’t loved by all, but I adore the label’s feminine approach and the raw-edges of their asymmetrical ruffles. My only comment on this particular look, is that the bodice seems a tad tight.

Tiffany Haddish: The Emmy-winning actress caught my eye in this Georges Chakra metallic embossed paisley suit. I don’t always get her style choices, but this is easily my favourite look from her this year. Perhaps tailoring is the way to go. Brian Atwood gold ‘Valerie’ pumps, Anabela Chan sustainable lab-grown diamond ring and Gismondi 1754 earrings completed her look.

Caruso’s Palisades Village Opening Gala

Caruso’s Palisades Village Opening Gala

There was a myriad of looks at Caruso’s Palisades Village Opening Gala on Thursday (September 20) in Pacific Palisades, California. Lovely ladies joined Camilla Belle and Charlize Theron.

Riley Keough: The ‘It Comes at Night’ actress showed some leg in Alexandre Vauthier. The contrasting fabrics give us something to talk about, but methinks they’re not used to their full effect. The metallic gold fabric looks rather like she has a shirt tied around her waist. Yet without it, it would have been merely a plunging LBD.

Kate Beckinsale: The actress often gravitates towards elegant black. This white Solace London gown had the same regal air of the darker colour palette. It shone for its curve-hugging simplicity.

Kate Beckinsale In Marchesa – Tea Party After Dark Event

Kate Beckinsale In Marchesa - Tea Party After Dark Event

Kate Beckinsale opted to keep up the black and white theme she’s been favouring lately for the ‘Tea Party After Dark’ event in New York City on Wednesday (September 12).

The British actress was back to her very best in Marchesa.

Her Fall 2018 gown was ultimately feminine; crafted in tiers of billowing tulle with floral appliqués, it’s framed with a sensual, yet extravagant silhouette that we expect from Marchesa.

I’m not sure who else was at the event, or what the dress code was, but my feeling is that Kate was overdressed, but I’m here for it.

Rather overdressed than no effort at all.

Kate Beckinsale In Georges Chakra Couture & Johanna Ortiz – 2018 Toronto International Film Festival

Kate Beckinsale In Georges Chakra Couture & Johanna Ortiz - 2018 Toronto International Film Festival

We weren’t impressed by Kate Beckinsale’s look at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards, so I’m sure you are hoping that normal service would be resumed by the British actress for Toronto International Film Festival.

‘Farming’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere: I feel like our opinions on this Georges Chakra Spring 2018 Couture dress will be very much aligned. The Kate we know, would’ve worn the gown, and while the short version in part looks OK-ish, the cascading white ruffle and black tulle detail looks ridiculous and a tad redundant. It only really works with the long version as it follows the length and flow of the gown. Do you agree? Wolford black tights and simple black pumps completed the look.

The IMDb Studio: This is more like it. Kate was sexy and chic wearing a Johanna Ortiz Fall 2018 top which captures the label’s superior prowess with asymmetric structures and ruffles. The top was paired with simple slacks and a pair of punchy white pumps for contrast.

Kate Beckinsale In Julien Macdonald – 2018 GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Kate Beckinsale In Julien Macdonald - GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2018

Kate Beckinsale made quite an impact on the red carpet for the 2018 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday (September 5) in London.

I have to say I was really disappointed by this outing in Julien Macdonald Spring 2018 handkerchief outing, especially when she had made a stunning comeback to the red carpet at the Deauville American Film Festival.

Had this been Alessandra Ambrosio or Halsey I wouldn’t have batted an eyelid, I just never saw Kate as one who would ever get caught in a thirst trap.

Venice Film Festival may be making all the headlines this weekend, but the annual overlap saw celebrities also head to France for the 2018 Deauville American Film Festival this weekend, before Toronto Film Festival takes places on Friday.

Photocall: Kate Beckinsale was honoured with the Talent Award at the festival and the honour comes with the locker room, which she was seen posing alongside of wearing an Alpha and Omega crop top with Armani trousers that have been cut with an exaggerated wide-leg silhouette for a maxi skirt illusion.  This fun and playful combo was styled with Giuseppe Zanotti silver ‘Betty’ platforms and EF Collection earrings, plus her signature ponytail.

Kate Beckinsale In Alberta Ferretti – 2018 ESPYS

Kate Beckinsale skipped the red carpet at the 2018 ESPYS on Wednesday (July 18) in Los Angeles, California, and went straight to presenting duties.

The British actress tend to stick to column silhouettes, but she opted for something totally different when she donned this intricately beaded custom one-shoulder gown with bodysuit inset from Alberta Ferretti.

I love Kate’s style, but was underwhelmed by this look.

Simply because it has been done to death and doesn’t suit her style at all. Plus I couldn’t get on board with the white eye makeup.

I love my Kate prim, with a dash of glamour and sprinkle of sex appeal.
