2022 SAG Awards Red Carpet Roundup
Here is a roundup from the 2022 SAG Awards, which was hosted from the Barker Hangar on Sunday (February 27) in Santa Monica, California.
This post will be continually updated, as it is the most effective way for me to include the remaining attendees.
‘Squid Game’ star Hoyeon Jung took home the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor Award wearing a custom Louis Vuitton dress proves to us once again that Nicolas Ghesquière, who is revered for his avant-garde designs, can produce an awards ceremony worthy gown that should receive our admiration.
Louis Vuitton High Jewelry completed her look.
It was a classic case of two Italian icons coming together when ‘The Morning Show’ actress Valeria Golino opted to wear this Giorgio Armani tuxedo dress.
The tailoring is impeccable. The only thing I would change here is the shoes, as I don’t like mixing metals, and for me they clash with her Pomellato gold necklace.
I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that Karen Pittman’s marigold gown is from Greta Constantine.
The brand is renowned for their love of bold, saturated hues, and ruffled details, but this dress doesn’t suffer from not having the latter.
A gorgeous Goshwara necklace completed her look.
When it comes to Piper Perabo’s cream Bazza Alzouman Spring 2022 dress, I think I could’ve been on board with this if the tulle portion didn’t appear dishwater grey.
‘Yellowstone’ actress styled her look with Fred Leighton and KWIAT Jewels.
Nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for ‘House of Gucci,’ Salma Hayek Pinault wore a custom Gucci begonia pink silk satin gathered gown for the occasion.
At this point. I’m at a “learn to live it” with it phase with Salma. I need to get to the same place with Heidi Klum.
Salma’s dress is nothing ground-breaking, but I like the ode to Old Hollywood.
It looks like she’s carrying over the opera gloves and (Harry Winston) jewels combo from 2021.
Gucci gold metallic sandals completed her look.
Hannah Einbinder in Dior Spring 2022 Haute Couture was just a little too lifeless for me.
Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals completed her look.
When it comes to Emily Osment, I think the feather on her Manurí dress we enough. The shoes were overkill.
I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the simple, sultry elegance of Hassie Harrison’s black silk satin mermaid Dolce & Gabbana gown.
Rosario Dawson hasn’t always had the best track record on the red carpet, so this Oscar de la Renta strapless dress is most definitely a win for her.
Chopard jewels completed her look.
Faith Hill was a surprise attendee, along with her husband Tim McGraw.
The Country singer kinda confirms just what a disappointing night it was for Dior.
This Dior Spring 2022 Haute Couture geometric silver lamé silk jacquard dress pales into comparison to the other stand out looks on this red carpet.
I wish she had the opportunity to wear Look 8 or Look 38.

As this Dior Spring 2021 Haute Couture pleated dress inlaid with lace and gold lamé featuring a gold guipure plastron was yet another gorgeous look for the Brit.
Juno Temple, nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, wore an iconic Atelier Versace Fall 2021 metal mesh column dress.
While this is a win for Juno (considering her previous outings in Versace), I wish this look didn’t have the padded shoulders.
Best Actress in a Comedy Series winner Jean Smart was serving up Old Hollywood glamour in this custom Christian Siriano burgundy gown featuring face-framing tafetta bubble collar.
She was looking every inch a Dame, without the official title.
A Christian Louboutin ‘Palmette’ clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Aza’ pumps completed her look.
‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ nominated actress Ashleigh LaThrop lookes sultry wearing a Et Ochs Pre-Fall 2022 black and white zebra print dress styled with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Sphera’ sandals.
I’m utterly fascinated by Kelsey Asbille’s silver lame Commission Fall 2022 dress.
You might say that it’s only a lace trimmed slip dress, but I love the construction of this piece which sees the reworking of a classic.
The styling which included David Yurman jewelry and Jimmy Choo sandals also elevates the look.
‘Squid Game’ actress Kim Joo-ryoung was radiant in all the primary colours wearing Zimmermann.
When it comes to J. Smith-Cameron in love with the combination of her green Lela Rose gown and pink clutch.
The look was styled with Pomellato jewelry.
Much like the real life Williams sister, Demi Singleton showcase as edgier side to her style in custom Celine with Messika jewels.
While Saniyya Sidney gave us a fairytale moment in this Disney-esqe Zuhair Murad blue organza gown from the Spring 2022 collection.
Emmy Raver-Lampman wore a Khoon Hooi off the shoulder gown.
I’m on the fence with regards to the ruffled cascading down the skirt. On one hand, overkill. On the other hand, the dress might have been boring without them.
Maggie Gyllenhaal opted to wear a look from The Row.
This is very much what I expect. Simple and elegant.
Jihae proves that you can bring some much drama with only one sleeve wearing Tony Ward Couture. This is magnificent. From the silhouette to the fan details on the body.
The ‘Succession’ actress was one of my favourites of the night.
Amy Ryan wore a very busy Bibhu Mohapatra gown.
‘The Handmaid’s Tail’ actress Amanda Brugel looked ever so regal wearing an Antonio Grimaldi Couture gown white gown with crystal and acetate embroidered shoulder.
I love how her Jimmy Choo ‘Venus’ clutch complemented that detail, along with her Grismondi 1745 jewels.
