2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Elegance and drama were common themes at the 2018 Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday (November 18) in London. Celebrities joined Jenna Coleman, Claire Foy and Letitia Wright.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge: The evening’s presenter was perfectly coordinated with the backdrop in custom Richard Quinn, Gina shoes and Cartier jewelry. She still shone in her own right thanks to the alluring draped neckline and rich explosion of colourful blooms.

Sophie Okonedo: The winner of the Natasha Richardson Award for Best Actress projected ladylike refinement in Emilia Wickstead Fall 2018. It might not have been an obvious red carpet choice, but I am caught up with the open neckline and how the shoulders merge into the choker detail.

Suki Waterhouse: In Brock Collection Spring 2019, she presented a more unabashed vintage femininity than her typical style but she radiates in the outfit. The flared hem balances the oversized sleeves for a charming finish.

Sophie Okonedo In Valentino - 'Christopher Robin' London Premiere

Sophie Okonedo joined Hayley Atwell for the London premiere of ‘Christopher Robin’ on Saturday (August 4).

The British actress wore a Valentino Fall 2018 dress which was instantly recognisable for the bold floral embroidery.

I love the bodice which has been dramatically framed by frothy ruffles that lends a theatrical finish to an otherwise subdued silhouette.

Yellow sandals would’ve added understated injection of colour to complement the flowers, but Sophie kept things simple with black sandals.

Sophie Okonedo In Sophie Theallet – 2014 Tony Awards

Sophie Okonedo In Sophie Theallet - 2014 Tony Award

Sophie Okonedo took home the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ during the 68th annual ceremony on Sunday (June 8) in New York City.

The British actress wore a Sophie Theallet Fall 2014 silk velvet plumetis gown with a black organza and lace waist insert with luxe bohemian sensibilities.

Opting to modified the look for a more modest plunge, she styled her frock with an art-deco Rafe New York clutch and OFRIA jewels including a divine pair of 18k yellow-gold white diamond, black diamond and opal spiral earrings.

Flawless makeup and a simple bun rounded out her look.
