Hilary Duff Wore Rhode & Alessandra Rich Promoting ‘How I Met Your Father’

With ‘How I Met Your Father’ due to premiere on Hulu in the US today, Hilary Duff has been busy promoting the new sitcom.

This first look is Rhode’s Pia dress, which is something of a cult favourite according to the brand, much like the signature dresses from The Vampire’s Wife.

The Pia dress is available in 15 different colours.

I can see why Hilary was attracted to this dress, as she tends to steer towards looks with typically feminine touches, which we see here in the puff sleeves and cascading ruffle.

The print is the biggest draw for me here, followed by the silhouette.

I’m on the fence with the ruffle, and the see-through shoes.

My first thought when I saw Hilary in this Alessandra Rich checked mini dress from the Resort 2022 collection is that this feels like a Lucy Boynton dress – I guess on account of the daintiness and the bows.

I feel like this is a little too twee for Hilary, but I do love the styling of this look, especially the Steve Madden ‘Twice’ black patent shoes.
