2021 Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Padma Lakshmi 2021 Billboard Music Awards

Here is a roundup from the red carpet at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, which was hosted at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (May 23).

Padma Lakshmi was shining bright like a diamond in a crystal embellished Christian Siriano suit.

Not content, she added Jacquie Aiche jewels and a crystal embellished Tyler Ellis clutch.

SZA Billboard Award

Thanks to Megan Fox and SZA cut-out dresses were trending on this red carpet.

The singer rocked a Mônot Fall 2021 which she styled with red metallic pumps and Messika jewels.

Kathryn Hahn Billboard Music Awards

Kathryn Hahn didn’t get the sheer, or cut-out memo, as she stayed true to her style wearing a Thom Browne corset and trouser combo.

This proves that you don’t have to be on trend to nail a look at this event.

The same can be said for Lena Waithe who rocked the menswear pastel pistachio BOSS Spring 2020 suit we saw on Nick Jonas last month.

Usually we see a dark suit with a lighter coloured shirt, so I love how she flipped the styling with this look.

Kehlani Billboard Music Awards

Kehlani wore a Tony Ward look styled with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudistdisco’ shoes and Bvlgari jewels, which wouldn’t have looked out of place at the 2021 Latin American Music Awards which took place last month.

Kelsea Ballerini Billboard Music Awards

Kelsea Ballerini opted for a short and sassy Nedo Fall 2020 constellation dress.

Karol G Billboard Music Awards

Karol G, winner of the Latin Female Artist Award, wore a sparkling Celia Kritharioti gown which was right on trend in being both sheer and featuring a cut-out.

The shimmering blue piece was well coordinated with her bright blue hair, Anabela Chan diamonds, and her thong.

Le Silla sandals completed her look.

Renee Elise Goldsberry Billboard Music Awards

Renee Elise Goldsberry is our go-to girl for sophisticated elegance at the Tony Awards.

This Dundas one-shouldered mini metallic dress should be applauded for stepping outside her Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta comfort zone, and for being event appropriate, but there is something about the styling of her hair which ages the overall look somehow.

Had she opted for a slick back do, this would feel less like it hailed from the ‘80s.

Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Harmony’ sandals and Chopard jewels completed her look.
