Here is a roundup of red carpet for the 2021 Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Party was hosted in Shanghai, China on Wednesday (March 31).
Elaine Zhong: Some of you weren’t too crazy when Jurnee Smollett wore this same Louis Vuitton Spring 2021 suit to the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards. I feel that you’ll be even less enamored with this re-run considering the terrible styling. The white t-shirt didn’t dull the shine, but the oversized clutch and clown shoes did.
Cecilia Liu: You’ll also remember this Chanel Spring 2021 look which was worn by Margot Robbie to the 2021 Golden Globe Awards. We all wanted more from Margot considering it was the first major event during awards season, but I’m enjoying the effortless vibe from Cecilia here. It really is all about the right time and place for a dress.
Ni Ni: The actress was one of my best dressed for 2020. She looked radiant again, this time in Gucci. The pink ribbons do feel a bit random, but I also love how they prevent this look from feeling like a standard black dress. We all know Alessandro Michele is a maximalist, so these details stay true to his design ethos.
Gina Jin: Without the yoke, this pretty blue Prada dress would’ve been my favourite of the night.
Xin Zhilei: You can’t beat simple elegance, which is everything I love about this Chanel Spring 2021 dress/jumpsuit.
Ora Yang: I did say that I’m glad that Angelababy didn’t wear the blue sheer Christian Dior Spring 2021 dress, but now that I’m seeing it on Ora Yang, it’s not all bad. However, I still stand by my belief that it wasn’t the right dress for Angelababy.
Lina Zhang: I really wanted to like this Louis Vuitton monogram dress, as Lina is really selling it. But I just can’t get on board with the fabric. It looks less than expensive.
Yang Zi: While this Georges Chakra Spring 2020 Couture dress is a pretty colour for Yang Zi, but the construction didn’t really hold up too well.
