‘Skyscraper’ New York Premiere

Hannah Quinlivan and Carla Gugino joined Neve Campbell in New York on Tuesday (July 10) for the ‘Skyscraper’ premiere.

Hannah Quinlivan: The Taiwanese actress made her Hollywood debut in some style wearing a Prada rose short sleeve metallic sequin embroidered gown which was simply sensational. If I had to niptick, I would wish that she opted for a chic bun with this look.

Carla Gugino: The actress wore a Peggy Hartano navy suede strapless dress which woud’ve been a non-event had it not been for the contrasting train and the Brian Atwood multi-colour strappy sandals. Jamie Wolf earrings and an Edie Parker clutch completed her look.

SXSW Conference and Festival Weekend Roundup

A number of other stars were in Austin, Texas this past weekend for the start of the 2018 SXSW Conference and Festival. Here’s a look at what they were wearing.

Carla Gugino: The actress was a beauty in blue at the ‘Elizabeth Harvest’ premiere on Saturday (Marh 10) with this vibrant, high-low variation on the iconic Diane von Furstenberg floral wrap dress. I probably would have opted for a different shoe to let her red lip and matching envelope clutch be the accessories of note, rather than bring in the additional metallic shine factor.

Jamie Chung: Making a case for colourful stripes, this was such a graphically intrepid Ronny Kobo dress—and I loved its slightly dizzying effect at the ‘1985’ premiere on Friday (March 9).

AJ Michalka: At the ‘Support the Girls’ premiere on Friday (March 9), AJ turned up the charm in a Markarian ‘Theres’ dress. The only thing about this look was that I felt the black peep-toe shoes dragged it down somewhat.

‘The Space Between Us’ LA Premiere

The actresses at ‘The Space Between Us’ premiere on Tuesday (January 17) in Hollywood, California couldn’t have had more space between each of their distinct style offerings that had nothing in common that evening.

Janet Montgomery: In a mannish version of boudoir lounge wear, the actress introduced a look that was a cross between a dressing gown and a man’s button-down for this shirt dress by Jacquemus. Her exposed neckline is beautiful but the rest gets a bit haphazard.

Britt Robertson
: Bedazzled fringe was the order of the day in this Miu Miu metallic frock, the skirt to which could have passed for a beaded door curtain.

Carla Gugino In Zac Posen – ‘The Brink’ LA Premiere

Carla Gugino In Zac Posen - 'The Brink' LA Premiere

Carla Gugino attended the premiere Of HBO’s ‘The Brink’ at Paramount Studios on Monday (June 8) in Hollywood, California.

The actress has made a remarkable return to the red carpet, with each red carpet look more divine than the last.

On this occasion she opted for a figure-flattering Zac Posen dress in a pretty pink hue which was a welcome change to all the Fall-like colours which has swept the red carpet this summer.

I love how the origami fold detailing ups the ante on this classic silhouette making it quite the statement piece.

Christian Louboutin shoes, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Neil Lane jewels accessorized her look.

Carla Gugino In Lela Rose – ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’ LA Premiere

Carla Gugino In Lela Rose - ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’ LA Premiere

Carla Gugino joined Sophia Bush for the ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’ premiere at The Harmony Gold Theatre on Wednesday (June 2) in Los Angeles, California.

With Sophia going super-short with her look, Carla took the longer way out in a Lela Rose Fall 2015 dress.

The ladylike silhouette received a spirited, graphic punch with a purple abstract print that she reflected in her lavender lip colour.

If only her shoes had maintained the same vibrant shade for an extra pop. The clunkier black platform heels wouldn’t have been my first choice.

‘Entourage’ LA Premiere

'Entourage' LA Premiere

Celebs were out in force to celebrate the LA premiere of ‘Entourage’ at Regency Village Theatre on Monday (June 1) in Westwood, California.

They appeared reluctant to embrace the current season, as the majority wore black.

Emily Ratajkowski: The ‘Gone Girl’ actress’ style is usually very predictable. However, there was no plunging neckline or cut-outs on her Zuhair Murad Spring 2015 strapless tiered black lace evening gown, which made for quite a refreshing change.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: The actress wore a leather accented and cut-out David Koma dress which redefines the term LBD.

Malin Akerman: The ankle-length fringes on Malin’s one-shoulder dress along with that bold rep lip ensured maximise impact for this red carpet look. I’m delighted that her ankle boots are blending into the black carpet.
