2021 Grammy Awards Menswear Roundup

When it comes to the 2021 Grammy Awards menswear, we had a mix bag of colourful and traditional red carpet looks on Sunday (March 14).

Harry Styles:  Everyone was most excited about Harry’s Gucci look which was a mix of glam rock, and British eccentricity, with the plaid blazer paying homage to Cher from ‘Clueless.’

But can he make fetch happen?

By fetch I’m referring to the faux fur boa, as this was one of two he wore on the night.

Trevor Noah: As host for the night, Trevor set the tone in his sharp satin lapel Gucci suit.

Finneas: The singer-songwriter collected two awards on the night wearing a custom Gucci pink suit.  I love the idea, but I’m on the fence with regard to the contrasting black lapels.

Burna Boy: The Nigerian singer wore a sleek white Dior Men Fall 2021 suit, which is recognisable thanks to the Dior and Kenny Scharf print shirt. While I’m not so sure about the beige and black Dior Oblique jacquard slippers and gloves, I did find the belt which featured an orange tassel intriguing.

Kevin Parker: In terms of colour and print, this Versace Resort 2021 look was perhaps one of my favourites of the entire night.  The clashing prints kept this interesting.

Anderson .Paak: The singer showed plenty of flair in flares and a Gucci multi-coloured lurex floral jacquard blazer.

DaBaby: The rapper went one set further than Anderson, by rocking a full floral jacquard suit from Dolce & Gabbana

Kendrick Sampson:  The actor rocked black on black Armani.

Big Sean: Yes it’s another black suit, but the cashmere blanket fringed scarf set this Ermenegildo Zegna XXX look apart from the rest.

BTS: The boy band was fitted by Louis Vuitton. The camel looks and the last look with the green flower detail stand out.
