2019 Grammy Menswear Roundup

We cannot forget about the men at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 10). Their outfits might not have been quite as dramatic as some of the ladies, but they still looked sharp.

Kane Brown: The country singer showed off Versace’s luxurious black and gold with Jimmy Choo shoes. The interplay of the golden buttons with patterned shirt has great impact.

Swae Lee: The Rae Sremmurd member showcased his mix-and-match personal style in M.X By Maxime Simoens with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. This was the event to do it.

Mark Ronson: He successfully balanced retro spirit with modern swagger in a monochromatic offering. The contrasting shades around the neckline have a striking graphic effect.

Dua Lipa In Atelier Versace – 2019 Grammy Acceptance

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Dua Lipa In Atelier Versace - 2019 Grammy Acceptance

After a shining silver moment on the red carpet, Dua Lipa picked up the Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording awards at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday evening (February 10).

She donned Atelier Versace again as she posed backstage with her prizes.

With its sensual shape and safety pins, the gown will no doubt be compared to Elizabeth Hurley’s iconic safety pin dress.

However, the singer’s piece deserves to be recognized in its own right.

The wrapped white style with different lengths and the studded clips make it clear this is no copy.

Her chunky jewellery adds to the sexy-tough mood.

Cardi B In Vintage Mugler - 2019 Grammy Performance and Acceptance

Those who were living for the theatricality of Cardi B’s Vintage Mugler Haute Couture red carpet look should be delighted that she wore four different outfits from the designer’s archive to the 2019 Grammys on Sunday (February 10).

It marked the second time in 25 years that the house presented several archival looks to a celebrity.

For her performance, the rapper was in top showgirl form in Vintage Mugler Fall 1995. It was a performance piece in every sense of the word with the purple duchess satin and black velvet coat providing an attention-grabbing frame for the coordinating rhinestone-embellished bodysuit.

The animal print and graphic embellishment played into her aesthetic and felt very modern finish.
