Rita Ora Wore Ralph & Russo Couture To The Luisaviaroma For Unicef Charity Event

The red carpet is slowly resuming with the MTV VMAs this weekend, followed by an event hosted by LuisaViaRoma for Unicef, which was held at La Certosa di San Giacomo on Saturday (August 29) in Capri, Italy.

I did wonder about the future of the red carpet in terms of glamour, as I thought “would celebs be cautious about donning a big gala gown during these troubled times?” but someone said to me a few months ago, that people – not just celebrities – are dying to dress up again.

This I totally understand, as I wore block heel sandals to church on Sunday; just because I hadn’t worn heels in months, and I honestly wanted to feel a touch of glam while thanking god for getting me through the last 5 months.

Rita Ora has never needed a reason to dress up, or go glam, which is why I love her style.

She didn’t let me down at this event by wearing a gown that puts a capital ‘G’ in glamour from Ralph & Russo’s Spring 2020 Couture collection.

The oceana tulle asymmetrically draped gown, enriched with multi-coloured xilions and crystals, was finished with metallic chain embellishment, which she accessorized with Ara Vartanian jewels and sandals to match.

Are you having a case of déjà vu?

That’s mostly likely, because this dress is a less naked version of the dress Bella Hadid wore during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival by the same designer.
