Keke Palmer Hosts The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards
Without an audience and no one to bounce off, the one person who was going to be able to carry an occasion such as the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards was Keke Palmer.
This girl has personality in spades, and I truly hope she gets to host the show next year, as she did more than enough to warrant another chance to host this event.
I think she would be even more amazing with a live audience.
Not only did she host the event, but she also performed her new single ‘Snack,’ which has been very well received. I didn’t even know she could sing until last night. It looks like we have another JLo on the horizon, because Keke can do it all.
The actress-singer kicked off the night wearing a Tiffany blue Area mini dress accented with the brands signature embellishments.
I could’ve really done without the bow here.
It kinda takes the look down a twee path, plus I feel like the look is detailed enough with the glittering jeweled choker and embellished pumps.
Ralph & Russo sure to love feathers. Penelope Cruz and Gwyneth Paltrow can attest to that.
This Spring 2020 Couture dress, which also featured a multitude of dazzling embellishments, didn’t manage to outshine or overwhelm the actress.
What I love most are the pops of sapphire which make this a truly unique piece.
TASAKI Atelier Buoy earrings completed this look along with dazzling Christian Louboutin ‘Optisling’ sandals.
There was a serene moment – dress wise – when Keke donned this simple Valentino Fall 2020 crepe gown which was lightly pleated. Â
Thankfully the emerald and diamond jewels provided some sparkle.
Her second black look courtesy of David Koma probably didn’t need those TASAKI Atelier Aurora earrings, but they did complement the stunning embellishments which lined this dress.Â
I just wish this dress was sleeveless.
