Laverne Cox Wore Hakan Akkaya To The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ LA World Premiere
I did see Laverne Cox take to the red carpet for the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ world premiere held at Westwood Regency Theater on Monday (November 11) in Los Angeles, California, but I think the shock blocked my memory, as I forgot to post her look.
Now. We have all be crying out for something new from Laverne that didn’t read, “Beyonce,” or “gala gown girl.”
As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, as the actress was channeling her inner baddie wearing lace, barely-there-at-all gown created by Hakan Akkaya that single-handedly is keeping the naked sheer trend dress alive.
The long-sleeved, high-neck dress was made almost entirely from black lace, though two velvet panels were placed on the front and back with strategically-placed sequin strips across her chest.
This is the very definition of leaving nothing to the imagination.
On a positive note, this look does display her gorgeous figure, but fitted gown with more coverage would’ve done the same.

If you’re having a case of deja vu, that might be because it bares a cheeky similarity to Rita Ora’s Donna Karan Atelier Vanity Fair gown.
